Civil Aviation Resource Network February 3, 2022 news: Recently, Brussels Airport (Brussels Airport) announced that its cargo volume in 2021 exceeded 843,000 tons, an increase of more than 30% compared with 2020, and set the best performance since 2007, making Brussels Airport one of the strongest airports in Europe for cargo volume growth.

In particular, Brussels Airport's air cargo and mail business has achieved rapid growth in all categories, whether it is all-cargo aircraft, integrators, or passenger aircraft belly cargo. Among them, the performance of all-cargo aircraft was particularly strong, with an increase of 43% compared with 2020, and a sharp increase of 104% compared with 2019 before the new crown epidemic.

Among them, thanks to the steady recovery of the number of scheduled passenger flights, the belly cargo sector has grown strongly, reaching 64%. At the same time, all-cargo aircraft also maintained a 49% increase.
