After receiving the police, the police immediately launched a secret visit to Tanxi Town, and soon locked a suspicious house on the side of the road in a small village. It was a small dark gray two-story building with an unpainted exterior and a very inconspicuous look. However, the doors, windows, corners and other places of the small building are installed with a large number of surveillance cameras. From morning to night, the dark curtains are tightly closed, and not a single ray of light can penetrate. The most important thing is that there is a drainage ditch outside the small building, from which a very pungent odor is emitted. As soon as the experienced anti-narcotics police smelled it, they knew that this was the smell emitted by the reaction of chemical raw materials in the process of drug production.
After identifying the target, the police began to work shifts nearby to carefully check the people entering and leaving the small building. Perhaps it is "often walking by the river, never wet shoes", the suspicious elements in the house are obviously not vigilant enough, so many surveillance cameras are equivalent to decorations. Only the second time, the investigators sneaked into the gate of the small building unimpeded, and unveiled the black cloth to see the license plate of the black luxury car at the door.
According to the investigation, the owner of the car is named Cai Hanjiao, 27 years old, a native of Boshe Village, Jiaxi Town, Lufeng City. With Cai Hanjiao as the core, there should be a complete drug chain from the supply of raw materials to the production and trafficking of drugs, and this two-story building is a drug-making den of the organization.

In July 2012, the police launched a network collection operation, more than 120 police special police soldiers divided into four roads, 13 suspects were arrested in one fell swoop, and all drug-making equipment, more than 20 kilograms of drugs and more than 1 million yuan of drug funds were successfully seized.
The smooth and efficient anti-narcotics operation made the police very satisfied. But to their surprise, this was just the beginning. It's like "a shrimp catcher meets a big fish", and when you catch it again, all the fish in the pond bite each other's tails and pull up at once.
During the interrogation, Cai Hanjiao did not know whether he wanted to confess leniency and strive for leniency, or whether he wanted to drag others to accompany him to "Huangquan" out of selfishness. He actually took the initiative to confess a series of important clues:
"I learned to make poison from my predecessors in the village, and the skilled workers were also invited from the village."
"A small part of the raw materials I bought from Fujian were used by myself, and most of them were resold to other people in the village."
Obviously, Cai Hanjiao's meaning is that there are other drug trafficking gangs in Boshe Village, and they are older than him and larger than him.

On September 4, an accidental explosion occurred in Boshe Village. When the police rushed to the scene to investigate the cause of the accident, they accidentally found that it was a simple factory that made methamphetamine. In the subsequent visit and investigation, nearly 40 small drug-making dens surfaced one after another.
This accidental discovery made the police realize that what Cai Hanjiao said was true, and the scale of drug production and trafficking in Boshe Village was really beyond imagination.
In the top three areas of terror, there is a breeding ground for crime
In fact, the situation in Boshe Village can be said to be unreasonable and unexpected. Because the top three areas, including Boshe Village, are the most notorious "crime havens" in the whole of Guangdong Province.
The so-called Sanjia area refers to the town of Jiadong, Jiaxi and Jiazi in Lufeng City. Due to its remoteness, information isolation, poverty and backwardness, the region has long been like an "extralegal land" where money is supreme. Since the 1980s, the top three regions have been caught in the criminal circle of "ten years of smuggling, ten years of counterfeit money, and ten years of drug production".
It is understood that the wave of drug production in the top three regions originated in the late 1990s, mainly related to the two famous Chinese drug lords, Chen Bingxi and Liu Zhaohua.
It is said that as early as 1991, Chen Bingxi began to get involved in the drug business. At first, he was just a heroin distributor, buying heroin from Pingyuan Street in Yunnan, once china's "first drug distribution center", and then smuggling it to the United States, Thailand and other places to earn the difference. After Pingyuan Street was destroyed in 1992, Chen Bingxi switched to methamphetamine.

By the time Chen Bingxi was arrested in 2003, the two had manufactured and trafficked 12.36 tons of methamphetamine, the largest case of methamphetamine in global history. Under such a huge drug business, the relevant industrial chain naturally expanded wildly, thus setting off a drug frenzy in Puning and Lufeng areas.
Due to the rampant practice of drug trafficking and drug production in the top three areas, the National Narcotics Control Commission twice listed Lufeng City as a "key drug-related rectification area" in 1999 and 2011. Boshe Village is the number one target of the most important of these.

All in all, the chaos of illegal crimes in the top three areas is a long-term problem that is difficult to cure, and it is needless to say that Boshe Village, as a "hard-hit area", is not to be said. However, what the police did not expect was that just a few years after the last rectification, the drug production and trafficking industry in Boshe Village would make a comeback so quickly.
An in-depth investigation was launched, and the big guy surfaced
Based on a complex regional criminal history, as well as some of the information explained by the Cai Han Exchange. The police believe that the more than 30 drug-making dens that were accidentally seized must be just the tip of the iceberg of the "drug kingdom" in Boshe Village. Cai Dongjia did business in Shenzhen in the early years, and after making some money, he returned to the village to contract 100 acres of shrimp ponds, which could earn 100,000 yuan a year, and his life was very good. Until 1996, two small in the village, Xiao Chen and XiaoHong, found Cai Dongjia to help. The two said that they wanted to find a hidden place to make "plaster powder", and would give the Cai Dong family a benefit fee of 200,000 yuan after the fact.
This so-called plaster powder is actually methamphetamine. At that time, when the methamphetamine business entered the top three regions, drug dealers used "aspirin plaster soup" to call meth.
In short, under the temptation of 200,000 benefit fees, Cai Dongjia did not hesitate to agree. He helped Xiao Chen and Xiao Hong prepare the vacant land and various equipment they needed, and also found more than 10 villagers to lay hands. In just over a month, they helped the two produce up to 500 kilograms of gypsum powder.
Later, when the truth that plaster powder is methamphetamine was revealed, Cai Dongjia was furious. At first, he was angry that Xiao Chen and Xiao Hong pulled their innocent selves into the water, harming themselves with disasters, and fearing that the police would come to the door every day. But after knowing the market price of methamphetamine, Cai Dongjia's angry place became that he could sell 500 kilograms of methamphetamine for hundreds of millions of yuan, and he was busy and carried such a big risk, and he only got a mere 200,000 shares.
Over time, along with this feeling of dissatisfaction and pity, the concept of "meth = huge profits" also took shape in Cai Dongjia's mind. Since meth is so profitable, it is better to do it yourself, since you can produce 500 kilograms and earn hundreds of millions of dollars in less than two months, then you can also get rich in minutes.
Drug money seized by the police
In this way, under the temptation of money, Cai Dongjia resolutely stepped into the road of drugs. With the help of the drug production process learned from Xiao Chen and Xiao Hong, he quickly stepped into the right track.
Seeing this, everyone may have doubts. Among the drug lords I have learned about in the past, no matter what era or country, they all pursue the goal of "one big family" and "comprehensive monopoly". Then why did the Cai Dong family "do the opposite" and pull the whole village together.
From the overall situation, Cai Dongjia needs helpers and expands the scale, and the other is to share the risk. Of course, the most important reason is related to the special historical background of Boshe Village.
According to legend, during the Southern Song Dynasty, a man named Cai Dengying migrated from Fujian to settle in Boshe Village, and he gave birth to 4 sons. Among them, the third son left his hometown early, and the eldest son, second son and fourth son stayed in the local area to reproduce, thus forming three major families with the same origin in Boshe Village (called big house, second house and four house respectively).
As of 2013, there were 14,000 villagers in Boshe Village, all of whom were surnamed Cai. About 10,000 people in the village are from the big house, 3,000 people from the second room, and 1,000 people from the fourth room. Referring to the law of the multitude of people, the big house naturally has the greatest power, appeal, and absolute right to speak. And Cai Dongjia is the big house people.
Stemming from this special development process and the strict clan relationship, there is a very obvious feature within Boshe Village, that is, it is complicit. Boshe Village is like a big family with feudal traditions in the old society, the family patriarch is the heavens, and no law, morality, and police cadres are better than collective interests in their eyes.
To put it more poignantly, Boshe Village is actually a large group that commits crimes side by side and shields each other. As the person with the highest status, the greatest power in the village, and the person from a big house, the Cai Dong family is naturally a response.
In this way, under the call and leadership of the Cai Dong family, starting from the brothers of the Cai Dong family, one-fifth of the families in Boshe Village (another say one-third) embarked on the criminal road of drug production and drug trafficking.
As for Cai Dongjia, after the drug trafficking network in the village was formed, he assumed the role of core leader. He spent money everywhere to bribe police cadres to provide protection for the villagers to make and sell drugs. The first drug lord was exposed, and action was imminent

As soon as the name "Cai Zhaorong" came out, the police were happy to come from it. Because as early as August 2011, Cai Zhaorong had already been on the Lufeng City Public Security Bureau's online fugitive list. Not only that, according to the police investigation, Cai Zhaorong's drug trafficking volume is very large, a few kilograms, dozens of kilograms at a time, obviously a big drug lord who supplies distributors, and the social harm is extremely high.
Unfortunately, after more than a year of tracking, Cai Zhaorong's father Cai Chang and brother Cai Zhaoyan. His younger brother Cai Zhaozhan was arrested successively. Only Cai Zhaorong, the number one person, is hidden deeply and has not been found for a long time. However, this time, it was difficult to receive the latest news from Cai Zhaorong, and before the police could get excited, a thunderbolt fell on a sunny day.
Four drug dealers said that Cai Zhaorong has been manufacturing methamphetamine and selling raw materials since the end of last year. Not long ago, Cai Zhaorong just bought 60 barrels of raw materials from Fujian, and each barrel of 25 kilograms can produce 20 kilograms of methamphetamine. Coupled with the mature process technology, it can be said that in a few days, this batch of raw materials will be transformed into 1200 kilograms of methamphetamine and dispersed throughout the country.
Although in the long preliminary investigation, the police have determined that Boshe Village is completely a crazy "underground drug kingdom". However, cai Zhaorong's family's drug production work alone involved as many as 1200 kilograms of drugs, which is really huge beyond the imagination of all policemen.
It is no exaggeration to say that every day of action, there may be hundreds of kilograms of methamphetamine outflow, the consequences are unimaginable. It is clear that the action of closing the net is imminent.
Operation Thunder began and captured 3 tons of methamphetamine
After Cai Zhaorong's situation was exposed, the police, who had made full preparations, finally opened the prelude to "Operation Thunder". The Lufeng City Public Security Bureau seconded a large number of police forces throughout the province, set up ambushes on the outskirts of Boshe Village, and sowed a net of heaven and earth.
Police arrested several drug traffickers
At 4:00 a.m. on December 29, 2013, the network collection operation officially began. More than 3,000 policemen, armed police, and border guards were deployed in unison, divided into 109 arrest teams, and raided various drug-related families in various parts of the village.
I have to say that "not a family, not a door", throughout the arrest process, many drug-related villagers have presented the same ridiculous scene. Someone took out a rusty hoe and insisted that he was an honest farmer, unaware of the crystals of methamphetamine piled up in the house. Some people had loaded pistols on their beds and military grenades that pulled open the safety, looking like they were going to die together, but after being caught, they said that the weapons were all picked up from the woods and had nothing to do with them.
Of course, people are stolen and gained, and where they are allowed to open their eyes and talk nonsense. Their strong words and sophistry will only make them more shameless and ridiculous. In the end, after 12 hours of searching, the police arrested 182 drug suspects in one fell swoop, successfully destroyed 77 drug factories and 1 explosives production factory, and uprooted the entire drug village. Most importantly, in this thunder operation alone, the police seized 3 tons of methamphetamine from Boshe Village. If you add the previous 10 years of trafficking, this number does not know how huge, replacing Liu Zhaohua, Chen Bingxi to the top of the "world's largest methamphetamine case" is possible.
In 2016, Cai Dongjia was sentenced to death for the crimes of trafficking and manufacturing drugs, as well as harboring drug criminals. He was officially executed on January 17, 2019, paying the price he deserved for his sins. Although it is not clear what the final outcome of the trial of the remaining 100 or so drug-related personnel will be, with reference to the relevant regulations in the Criminal Law on manufacturing and selling 50 grams of methamphetamine, they may be sentenced to death.
Makarenko once said that "money is the invention of all mankind that is similar to the devil". The desire for money can easily make people lose themselves, break free from the constraints of law and morality, and thus make mistakes and step into the abyss. Therefore, in the face of the temptation of money, we must remain sober, adhere to the bottom line, and do not fall into the situation of disaster because of the difference of a thought.
