Among them, Zigong, the hometown of China's salt gang cuisine, will appear on CCTV at 20:28 on February 2 (the second day of the first lunar month) to share our "spicy food culture" with audiences and friends across the country.
"The documentary shows salt dishes from three aspects: the origin of peppers in the Yangtze River Basin, the food derived from peppers, and the culture of spicy food." The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce introduced to reporters that the "Journey" series is a food culture documentary, which is divided into 6 episodes this season, each episode is 30 minutes. The program selects a number of cities in China's pepper origin and important spicy areas for filming, and through the comprehensive excavation of local food customs, it shows the diverse spicy culture of various places.
