Here it comes! Barca officially announced: former Arsenal goalscorer Aubameyang has joined!

FC Barcelona officially announced that Aubameyang has officially joined the club. The player will sign until 30 June 2025 and will be able to choose to leave the team on 30 June 2023, with his termination clause set at €100 million.

Aubameyang, 32, joined Arsenal in January 2018 for a transfer fee of 63.75 million euros. Playing 162 games for the Gunners in 4 years, contributing 92 goals and 21 assists, winning the Premier League Golden Boot with 22 goals in the 18/19 season, Aubameyang scored 31 goals in the Bundesliga in 2016/17 and successfully won the Bundesliga Golden Boot, Aubameyang is the only player in history to have won both the Bundesliga Golden Boot and the Premier League Golden Boot.

Since Aubameyang joined Arsenal, he has repeatedly violated the rules of the team. In March 2021, Aubameyang was late for a North London derby and was awkwardly photographed by fans along the way driving the golden sports car stuck in the road on his way to the stadium. In December of that year, Aubameyang was allowed to leave the team to visit his sick family in France and did not cancel the agreed time, resulting in the inability to train and compete on time due to the epidemic. A series of disciplinary incidents led Arsenal to strip Aubameyang of his captain's armband and impose a suspension penalty.

In the end, Arsenal shook off the burden of a £350,000 weekly salary and terminated Aubameyang's contract. Barca's wave can be said to have picked up a big bargain, and in the current reconstruction situation, there is no doubt that there is such a strong player, there is no doubt that it is lucky.
