The mining area social fire is a unique folk culture and art in the Jingxing mining area of Shijiazhuang City, which is divided into two forms of expression: red-faced social fire and white-faced social fire. The Red Face Society Fire is a make-up performance, usually composed of 4-6 people, which is composed of a combination of storyline interpretations. The white-faced society fire does not wear makeup, and the performance is single or double, with both boxing routines and instrument drills. In May 2006, the folk fire was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list with the approval of the State Council. In 2017, it was listed as a district-level intangible cultural heritage project by the people's government of Jingxin Mining District. It has appeared in the central, provincial and municipal news media for many times, appeared on international channels, and gone abroad to become a characteristic cultural brand of Shijiazhuang City.
