The "speed of life and death" experienced at the World Cup ski steeplechase in November 2021 made Li Yaya feel uneasy.
"Two team members crashed out of the track due to losing their balance, causing a German team athlete to fall and cause a brain injury, and the athletes were unconscious and had bleeding from their lower limbs. At that time, our medical team was two hundred meters away from the scene. After receiving the order, we arrived at the scene in 10 seconds, urgently bandaged and fixed the injured person, and in less than 10 minutes took him to the athletes' medical station. Throughout the race, we just want to rescue the injured in time to ensure the normal progress of the event. ”
With a precarious mentality, deep accumulation and strong confidence in technology, there are many people like Li Yaya. Up to now, 36 clinical medical staff from beijing, Shijiazhuang, Handan, Zhangjiakou, Tangshan and other hospitals have conducted four-week ski training at Chongli Wanlong Snow Resort for three consecutive years and four snow seasons.
