Al Ain's Mohammed Ahmed scored the fastest goal in club world cup history just 79 seconds into the opening season. That came at the 2018 Club World Cup, 32 seconds ahead of the original record of Diego Tardelli's goal against Guangzhou Evergrande while representing Mineiro Athletic in 2013.

In the semi-finals of the 2017 Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, Pachuca goalkeeper Oscar Perez played against Gremio at 44 years and 10 months, becoming the oldest player in club history, more than 5 years older than the 39-year-old record held by Mitsuo Ohara, Miguel Calero, Ante Covic and Paul Maldini.

At the age of 17 years and three months, Pato set a new record for the youngest scorer in an adult men's football competition hosted by FIFA (the original record was set by Pele in the 1958 World Cup for Brazil against Wales). When he represented Brazil International in Japan in 2006 for the Club World Cup, Pato hadn't even made a single appearance in the professional competition of the adult team! Three days later, he scored in one minute of his senior debut!

The oldest goal scorer in the Club World Cup is Zanetti, who was 37 years old.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have england with three teams playing in the Club World Cup, ahead of Europe.

New Zealand's Auckland City has participated in the Club World Cup nine times, the most for clubs, while Al Ahli is second with seven entries.

Osaka's 3-5 defeat to Manchester United in 2008 and Al Sadd's 2-6 loss to Esperance in 2019 tied for the club world cup goal-scoring match by eight goals.

The most goals scored in the final were AC Milan's 4-2 win over Boca Juniors in 2007 and Real Madrid's 4-2 win over Kashima Antlers in 2016, both scoring six goals.

Six players have lifted the Club World Cup at different clubs: Dida (Corinthians and AC Milan), Danilo (Sao Paulo and Corinthians), Thiago (Barcelona and Bayern), Tony Kroos (Bayern and Real Madrid), Ronaldo (Manchester United and Real Madrid) and Shaqiri (Bayern and Liverpool).

Tony Kroos is the only player to have won the Club World Cup gold medal five times. The midfielder helped Bayern Munich reach the top in 2013 and has since achieved this feat four times at Real Madrid.

Five players have scored in the Club World Cup representing unused clubs: York (Manchester United and Sydney FC), Neri Cardoso (Boca Juniors and Monterrey), Ronaldo Jr. (Barcelona and Atlético Mineiro), Ronaldo (Manchester United and Real Madrid) and Shioyaji (Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Al Ain).

In the first five Club World Cups, the finals were all between Europe and South America. In the 11 finals, there were 5 teams from outside Europe and South America, including Mazembu, Casablanca, Kashima Antlers, Al Ain and Tigers. Among them, Kashima Antlers are the closest to lifting the trophy,: in 2016, they led Real Madrid by nearly an hour, after which they were reversed by Ronaldo's hat-trick (two of them scored in extra time).

If you count the Intercontinental Cup, the predecessor of the Club World Cup, the players who joined the ranks were: Gilma, Mauro, Zito, Mengavio, Pepe, Pey, Pey and Coutinho in 1962; Pompidou, Oscar Ruggeri and Hector Hector Henrique in 1986; and Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo in 2002.

Messi is the only player to win the Adidas Ballon d'Or twice in the Club World Cup. Ronaldo has been on the podium four times, winning one golden ball and three bronze balls.

The Brazilian has won four Club World Cup Ballon d'Or awards for the first time, namely Edilsen, Rogglio Cheney, Kaka and Cassio. And no other country than Brazil has more than two players who have won the Club World Cup Ball of Gold.

In 2006, Mohammed Abtrika scored twice with free kicks against Oakland City and the Americas. In the history of the Club World Cup, no one has scored more than 1 direct free kick except him.

Of the 26 clubs that have participated in the Club World Cup multiple times, only two have won at least one victory each time.

Dida, Marcellinho, Edilsen and others helped Corinthian win the championship in 2000, and in 2012 Corinthian rose to the top again, and the core hero became Cassio. In 2013, Bayern Munich won the top card of the Club World Cup with Ribery, and in 2020, when Bayern won the cup again in Qatar, the core players were already Kimissi and Lewandowski.
