Recently, the Information Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University developed and opened the "Pocket Hospital" neonatal area to enrich and expand the online service function of newborns and provide convenience for families with children.
The Department of Pediatrics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengda University shoulders the medical work, teaching and scientific research tasks of children's difficult and critical diseases in the province, and has set up five neonatal (severe) wards in the four districts of the first hospital, and there are currently more than 160 children in the hospital. Severely ill children are unaccompanied, especially during the epidemic period, some parents of severely ill children cannot travel due to isolation, but need to understand the treatment of children and renew the hospitalization fee, and newborn patients cannot handle and inquire on mobile phones because most of them do not have ID card information and even have not been named.
In order to better serve newborn patients and facilitate parents to understand the child's situation in real time, the Information Office of Zhengda First Affiliated Hospital learned of the work needs of the neonatology department, urgently formulated solutions, overcame difficulties, organized engineers to work overtime, and developed the "Pocket Hospital" newborn online service function at the fastest speed. Through this special area, the children's families can view the newborn examination results, test results, one-day list of hospitalization, discharge with medicine inquiries, etc., and newly open the hospitalization prepayment function, which greatly facilitates the parents of the children and has won the unanimous praise of the doctor and the newborn family.
