Austria will hold a ceremony for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics delegation to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics on January 26, and 106 Olympic athletes will go to Beijing to compete on the 28th.
As one of the traditional powerhouses of winter sports, the Austrian delegation to the Beijing Winter Olympics was led by several Winter Olympic champions, including alpine skier Matthias Mayer and snowboarder Anna Gasser.
Austria has one more participant than the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. The first olympic athletes will take a charter flight to Beijing on the 28th. Austrian Olympic Committee President Carl Staus recently said that he is looking forward to the Olympic delegation's success at the Beijing Winter Olympics; the total number of medals for the Olympic delegation is between 14 medals at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and 17 at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
