Wuhan "No. 1" ski instructor: open the ski door for more people

"Do you like skiing? The feeling of sliding down from here is amazing, and the uncle takes you to feel it first. Using his body to stabilize the little boy who was full of expectations, He Yunxue took him to glide freely on the snow. After the first experience of skiing, the little boy shouted with joy that he wanted to learn to ski.

On January 22, Wuhan Qugu Four Seasons Ski Resort opened its doors to guests. In the strong atmosphere of the upcoming opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, thousands of Jiangcheng residents poured into the ski resorts in the first week of opening, and the coaching team wearing number vests was particularly sought-after. As the head of the coaching team, "No. 1" He Yunxue is even busier. "As a southerner, my biggest wish is to open the door to skiing for people living in southern cities and let them get involved with skiing." He said.

He Yunxue, 35 years old from Chenzhou, Hunan Province, was a former professional water skier. In 2007, with the gradual advancement of the "North Ice South Exhibition West expansion and eastward expansion", He Yunxue was exposed to skiing for the first time in Hangzhou. Due to the commonality of project skills, he not only liked skiing, but also came up with the idea of skiing in winter and water skiing in summer. That winter, He Yunxue went to Jilin Yingbin Autonomous Prefecture to learn skiing, and became associated with the sport. "I first went to Jilin to study, and then I went to Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province, and soaked in the snow field as soon as I arrived in winter." After 6 years of continuous learning and accumulation, he first passed the Ski Doubleboard Social Sports Instructor Level 4 test, and in 2013, he started his career as a ski instructor with a license, working 5 to 7 hours a day.

According to He Yunxue, Wuhan Qugu Four Seasons Ski Resort covers an area of 6,000 square meters, with a length of 160 meters and a slope of 7 degrees, which is very suitable for beginners to experience skiing and practice the most basic skiing, braking and other techniques. "Due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, the ski resort is capped at 3,000 people per day. Before the opening, online tickets were sold out very early, and the number of people who came to ski every day in these days reached more than 700 people, most of whom were parents with children or three generations, and groups of young people were also one of the main forces. "From the northeast to the south, He Yunxue, who has taught in many cities, said that this snow field is like a magic box, which allows people living in Wuhan to experience the magic of skiing after opening.

It is understood that Wuhan Qugu Ski Resort will be converted into an indoor ski resort after the temperature rises in March this year, which can be open for business in all seasons, and He Yunxue will also stay. "In 2017, on the basis of the ski and snowboard level 4 instructor, I passed the level 5 exam and obtained a qualification certificate. From the moment I decided to become a ski instructor, my wish was to let more Southerners participate in this sport and plant the seeds of skiing in the hearts of more children. He said.
