According to foreign media reports, Wissam Jabre will serve as executive vice president and CFO of Western Digital from February 7, 2022. Jabre has over 20 years of semiconductor and operational experience, having served as CFO at Dialog Semiconductor prior to this job hopping.

"We are delighted that Wissam has joined the Western Digital team. Not only is he an experienced treasurer with extensive semiconductor and international business experience, but he also has technical expertise that shares our values of collaboration and innovation," Western Digital CEO David Goeckeler said in a press release.
Jabre will report directly to Goeckeler and lead Western Digital's global finance organization.
Prior to joining Dialog Semiconductor in 2016, Jabre served as AMD's Vice President of Corporate Finance. From 2004 to 2014, Jabre also held a number of finance positions during his 10-year tenure at Freescale Semiconductor.
