At that time, the monthly sales of the Haval H6 could reach an astonishing 70,000 units, which can be called the peak moment of domestic SUVs. But in fact, not only Haval H6, but also Changan CS75, SAIC Roewe RX5, GAC Trumpchi GS4, these four cars, and known as the "four kings of family SUVs".
Unfortunately, with the early arrival of the new energy era, these models have not done a good job in the upgrading of new energy, resulting in declining sales and no longer brilliant.
However, as the best-selling fuel SUV, these cars are still evolving, and recently, Changan officially announced the official model of the new generation Changan CS75 PLUS. The new car is internally codenamed C928 and is expected to be officially launched in the second half of this year.
Judging from the official pictures released this time, the new car is completely different from the current model, with a new design style, a borderless large-size inverted trapezoidal grille, quite a flavor of the Changan UNI series, a bit of a matrix structure inside the grille, and the overall V-shaped layout.
The headlights at the front of the car are very cool, in addition to the popular through-type LED light strip, the horizontal unequal length design is also used at the headlights, combined with the illuminated Changan logo, which is very recognizable.
The overall proportions of the side of the body are similar to those of the current model, with the popular hidden door handles, and the rich waistline and raised wheel arch lines make it very dynamic.
The rear of the car also has a continuous taillight design, but the high-mounted brake lights on the roof have been turned into a center point, which makes them more visible when braking. The exhaust pipe at the rear of the car is also hidden, which is in line with the current design trend, but I personally prefer the bare exhaust, which looks more domineering.
The dimensions of the new car disclosed on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's declaration website are 4770/1910/1695 (1705) mm, and the wheelbase is 2800mm, which is basically the same as the current model. Its power will also be equipped with Changan's new generation of Blue Whale engine, which is a high-low power 1.5T engine, with a maximum power of 138kW and 141kW respectively, but there is no news of a plug-in hybrid model yet.
If the new generation Changan CS75 PLUS still maintains the power configuration of pure fuel, then it is clear that there is not enough lead in the next competition.
