There are 5 minor events in the figure skating competition, including team competition, men's singles, women's singles, doubles, ice dance, and 148 athletes from 32 countries and regions participated. There are 9 sub-events in the short track speed skating competition, 500 meters for men and women, 1000 meters for men and women, 1500 meters for men and women, 3000 meters relay for women, 5000 meters relay for men and mixed team relay, with 112 athletes from 23 countries and regions participating.

During the Winter Olympic Games, the Capital Stadium will carry out 30 venue conversions, involving ice surfaces, protective mats, landscapes, photography points, broadcast machine positions, timing and scoring, temporary facilities and other links, requiring multiple business fields and about 200 people to cooperate closely, and complete them all within 2 hours.

According to reports, there are more than 1,500 people in the closed loop of the group competition team of the Capital Gymnasium stadium and more than 900 people outside the closed loop, and all the personnel have entered the closed loop and outside the closed loop according to their posts. 929 professional volunteers and general volunteers from more than ten centralized source units and some social sources, such as Chinese Min University, Beijing Jianzhu University, Peking University First Hospital, etc., have all been assigned to various posts, carried out hierarchical and classified training, and improved the level of volunteer service.

A total of 11 medical stations have been set up in the main stadium and the two training halls, and the support personnel are from the First Hospital of Peking University, Peking University International Hospital, Beijing Emergency Center, Beijing Red Cross Rescue Service Center, and Capital Medical University, a total of 147 people, to provide medical protection for athletes, staff and spectators.

After the game, the Capital Gymnasium will become a complex and base camp integrating professional ice training, mass sports and fitness, and sports activities, which can undertake high-level events such as short track speed skating, figure skating, ice hockey, curling, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and other projects.
