Fang Yiqun (1914~2007) is a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from Shanghai Minli High School in 1934. He has successively served as the editor of zhonghua bookstore, the editor of children's publishing house, and the editor of Shanghai Translation Publishing House. He began publishing in 1946. In 1980, he joined the Chinese Writers Association. He wrote a large number of children's literature works, and wrote the famous theoretical article "How to Write Shallow", which is still regarded as a treasure by many authors who are interested in the creation of children's literature. His work "The Radish Is Back" won the first prize of the second national children's literature and art, and "Who Are You Happy" won the National Excellence Award for Children's Literature from 1980 to 1981.
Yan Gefan, China's first generation of comic strip painters and composers. He was an editor of Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House and Children's Publishing House.
