Space White Paper: Continue to Implement Manned SpaceFlight Projects Fully build and operate the Chinese space station

Beijing, 28 Jan (Xinhua) -- The white paper "China's Aerospace in 2021" released by the Information Office of the State Council on 28 January said that in the next five years, China will continue to implement manned space projects, fully build and operate the Chinese space station, and deepen the demonstration of the manned moon landing plan.

The white paper said that the successful launch of the "Tianhe" core module marks that the construction of China's space station has entered the full implementation stage. The "Tianzhou-2" and "Tianzhou-3" cargo spacecraft and the "Shenzhou-12" and "Shenzhou-13" manned spacecraft were successfully launched, and successively docked rapidly with the "Tianhe" core module to form a space station assembly and operate stably, and 6 astronauts were stationed on the Chinese space station.

In the next five years, China will continue to implement the manned spaceflight project, launch the "Qingtian" experimental module, the "Dream Sky" experimental module, the "Sky Survey" space telescope, as well as the "Shenzhou" manned spacecraft and the "Tianzhou" cargo spacecraft, fully build and operate the Chinese space station, build a national space laboratory, and carry out long-term astronaut stays, large-scale space science experiments, and space station platform maintenance.

At the same time, China will deepen the demonstration of the manned lunar landing plan, organize the development of key technical research, develop a new generation of manned spacecraft, and consolidate the foundation for manned exploration and development of the Earth-Moon space. (End)
