Sky: Dembele wanted to stay, but Barca again asked him to find his next home before the winter window closed

According to Sky Sports, although Dembele has expressed its desire to stay in the team, Barcelona has once again told players to find another club before the transfer window closes.

Dembele's agent, Moussa Sissoko, has met with Barca boss Xavi and technical director Cruyff Jr. to further exchange ideas about the future of the players. Moussa Sissoko expressed Dembele's confidence that he wants to play for Barca at least before his contract expires and is 100% committed to it.

In addition, Dembele is willing to extend its contract, but not on the terms currently offered by Barca – which includes a sharp pay cut. But Barca have again said that if Dembele does not sign, then he must find another club and Barca will help him do that.

However, in the current transfer market, which club can afford to bring in Dembele remains to be seen, Paris and a few Premier League giants are teams that can afford his salary, but teams like Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City do not seem to have such intentions this month, making Dembele more and more likely to stay at Camp Nou.

Dembele was told he wouldn't play if he didn't sign a contract extension – he hadn't been in the squad for the last two matchdays, but it was said that If he stayed, Harvey was ready to play.
