The Chinese painting "Fast and Furious", which depicts the wonderful moments of short track speed skating, the sculpture "Wind and Snow Flying - Snowboarding" that freezes the athletes "flying" at the highest point... On January 21st, the "Tiandiren - Exhibition of Works Created by the Beijing Winter Olympics of the National Academy of Painting of China" was opened at the Art Museum of the National Academy of Painting of China. The exhibition features 201 new Winter Olympics-themed works created by artists from the Academy of Painting to help the Beijing Winter Olympics.

A total of 201 selected works were exhibited in this exhibition, including 101 works of fine art and 100 works of calligraphy. All artists of the National Academy of Painting of China actively participate, and widely invite well-known artists across the country to carry out thematic creation around the Olympic Games, covering various art disciplines such as Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, calligraphy, seal engraving, etc., and are the latest thematic large-scale creations showing the theme of the Winter Olympics in 2021, and have been strictly evaluated by the Art Committee of the National Academy of Painting of China to ensure the high quality of the exhibition.
The exhibition covers all categories of painting and calligraphy, not only works showing the competitive scenes of athletes, but also a large number of works on the theme of the Winter Olympics in the sports life of the people, expressing good wishes for the ice and snow Olympics. Participating artist Yu Wenjiang said that in this creation, the artists in line with the creative requirements of shouzheng and innovation, strive to vividly and three-dimensional interpretation of the Olympic spirit, through the creation of the theme of the Winter Olympics, and strive to show a vivid and three-dimensional China.
At the opening scene of the exhibition, IOC Vice President Yu Zaiqing recounted the long seven-year journey of the Winter Olympic Games from election to bidding to success. He said that the artists' artistic creations further explained the Olympic spirit and played an important role in cultural ties. The exhibition runs until February 10.
