The Irish Olympic Committee recently announced the list of 20 people to participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics. Ireland will send six athletes, including two women. They will compete in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, bobsleigh and snowboarding.
Snowboarder Shelmer O'Connor, 24, will be the first Irish athlete to compete in three Winter Olympics, having previously competed at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
