On January 26th, the professional special invitation exhibition of "Future City | Zaha Hadid Architects" was officially opened at the Future Design Art Center in Chengdu East New District. This is the first major exhibition welcomed by the Future Design Art Center after its completion, and it is also the second stop of the "Zaha Hadid Architects Special Exhibition" in Chinese mainland and the first stop in the west.

With the theme of "Future City", zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) brought more than 100 original models, renderings, photography, audio-visual materials and other blockbuster exhibits, through 18 parts of sustainability, towers, parks and headquarters, high-rise buildings, complexes, cultural buildings, sports facilities, computing and design research, etc., to comprehensively display the evolution trajectory of the works of the legendary "architectural queen" Zaha Hadid and his creation of ZHA over the past 40 years, presenting the design methodology and design process of ZHA. It shows ZHA's unchanging spirit of innovation and pioneering spirit, as well as the appearance of the future city in the architectural context, explores the ideal form of the "future city" through "construction design", and focuses on the national strategy of "carbon peak carbon neutrality", and explores the relationship between innovative design and sustainable urban development in the eastern new area of Chengdu.
This special exhibition selects the second stop in the mainland and the first stop in the western part of Chengdu In the Eastern New Area, which not only aims to promote the communion charm of architectural design and culture and art to the public, but also comprehensively shows the pioneer concept and unlimited imagination of this future city to the public.

Inspired by the desert environment, the dune-like building in the United Arab Emirates is designed to be precisely calculated and designed to withstand the Shama winds that prevail in the local environment, provide users with a comfortable working environment, and minimize the building's comprehensive energy consumption.
The overall shape of the King Abdullah Petroleum Research Center uses a honeycomb, quasi-modular splicing structure to achieve the best balance between sunshine management and energy harvesting, and is a LEED Platinum certified environmentally friendly building.
The façade of Guangzhou Infinitus Plaza is covered with the same membrane structure material as the Beijing "Water Cube", which meets the full range of lighting and energy consumption control in Guangzhou, where the climate is hot, and the design of permeable concrete and roof rainwater collection practically implements the sponge city concept, so that the economic operation efficiency of the building can be maximized during use.

The Future Design Art Center, the venue of this special exhibition, is a new landmark in the Eastern New Area that embodies the five concepts of "innovation, green, coordination, openness and sharing".
