The Super Three League is a three-person basketball tournament of the highest level in China organized by the Chinese Basketball Association and organized by Shenzhen Basketball Sports (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chinese Basketball Association. It is also the fourth Chinese professional basketball tournament after the CBA, WCBA and NBL.
Affected by the epidemic, the 2021 Super Triple League is conducted in a tournament system, which is divided into two divisions: Baoding and Macao. The regular season stage is divided into 12 rounds, and the participating teams receive corresponding points according to the ranking of each round. The top 12 teams were shortlisted for the annual finals, with the top 4 teams reaching the top 8. The annual finals are played on a single-elimination basis, with 12 teams competing in the final 20 matches.
From its first appearance on the world stage in 2010 with the Youth Olympic Games, to its promotion by FIBA as a separate event in 2012, and then to its official Olympic event in 2017, the speed of development of three-person basketball is remarkable.

In 2018, the three-man basketball national men's and women's teams both won gold at the Jakarta Asian Games; in 2019, the women's team reached the top of the three-person basketball World Cup; last year's Tokyo Olympics, the three-person basketball women's team once again reached the podium... The achievement of these achievements has made domestic fans aware of and understand the sport. After years of accumulation, the conditions for Chinese three-person basketball to move towards the road of professionalization have basically been met.
On December 11, 2021, the National Men's Triple Basketball Super League was finally pushed to the front of the stage. In addition to the 10 teams that participated in the 2019 and 2020 National Three-Man Basketball Club Classic, the 2021 Super Triple League also attracted 11 new teams to participate. A total of 125 players have been registered in the Super Triple League this season, of which 22 have had CBA experience, 16 have had NBL experience, and 40 have had CUBA experience. (End)
