This exhibition selects 136 pieces (sets) of Ming Dynasty princess jewelry collected by the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, most of which were excavated from the tombs of the Ming Dynasty Jiangxi Ning Wang, Yi Wang and their family members, which were worn and owned by the princesses of the clan at that time. The feudal monarchy system is a very distinctive clan system in the Ming Dynasty, the original purpose of the founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang was to let the sons of the clan guard the imperial capital, and at the beginning of its establishment, it also played a certain positive role, and a group of fierce people represented by Ming Chengzu Zhu Di emerged, but with the gradual extinguishing of the border war, the many clan kings became parasites attached to the economic bloodline of the Ming Dynasty, causing a serious burden on the state finances.

The exhibits this time are exquisite, taking one of them as an example, on a gold noodle, there is actually a three-dimensional pavilion carved. Only to see this aerial tower is full of immortals, carved beams and jade pillars, glazed flying tiles and even the gods and immortals who are touching their ears, every detail is extremely realistic, and a dream world is created with pure gold between inches. The ingenuity of its skills, the beauty of its shape, and the high value of its value can be called the ceiling of the ancient Chinese gold jewelry industry.

However, the owner of this exhibit is only the second-generation Yi king Zhu Houye's step-concubine WanShi, and it should be known that such a luxurious funerary product has not even been found in the tomb of Empress Mingdingling. It can be seen from this that Zhu Yuanzhang's original idea of expecting his children and grandchildren to guard the border and defend the country fell short, and most of the princes of the clan only knew that they were poor and extravagant, and did not care about the security of the country. Among them, the most famous are the Fu King and the King of Shu at the end of the Ming Dynasty, who were about to be destroyed by the peasant army, and these two princes who were rich enough to rival the country were not able to pull out a dime, and they were unwilling to scatter some family wealth to raise military funds, and finally the twin cities were broken and died.

The collapse of the Ming Dynasty and the collapse of the feudal monarchy are only one of the reasons, but taking history as a mirror, we can still find lessons from it. Gold and silver treasures, brocade and jade food, are just smoke clouds, life does not bring death, even if it is rich and noble, it is only turned into a piece of loess. And the prosperity of the family is based on the strength of the country, social stability, the pursuit of material enjoyment can not be overdone, if it is dominated by desire, has become a stumbling block to historical progress, it will eventually be abandoned by the times, even if the monstrous wealth is like the castle in the air on the golden noodle, just a mirage of mirror flowers, water and moon.
