On January 26th, the Book Bar of Futian Station of Shuxiang Metro was officially opened at Futian Station of Shenzhen Metro, marking the gradual realization of the composite utilization of physical space in Shenzhen Metro and the rolling out of the demonstration model of "reading for all + green travel". It is reported that this is also the city's first subway station book bar.
The opening ceremony was co-sponsored by Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Publishing Group Co., Ltd., and jointly hosted by Shenzhen Book City Luohu City Industrial Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Metro Commercial Management Co., Ltd.
Shuxiang Subway Futian Station Book Bar opened
Wooden book walls, flying book lamps, famous golden sentence exhibitions, and book bars add a touch of light book fragrance to the bustling subway station. The reading area is full of all kinds of books, and there are 8 categories of books on the shelves, including party and government books, history and culture, literature and art, economic management, life and health care, science and technology popularization, children's books, and family education.
According to the staff, at present, there are 400 varieties and 1300 books on the book bar, in line with the principle of "selecting good books and choosing new books", we have created a "Shenzhen Reading Month Top Ten Good Books, Ten Children's Books" book gift box booth, "The Whole People Study Party History" Party History Study and Education Theme Reading Booth, and will continue to select high-quality publications for the general public readers in the later stage, so that everyone can enjoy reading life more conveniently.
Book bar opened
As the first subway station book bar planned by the "Shuxiang Metro" project, the book bar focuses on providing online and offline reading, ordering and other functions of books, and adopts the mode of "bookstore + coffee + cultural creation + activities" to create a comfortable book stack, which is convenient for citizens to rest and read in the book bar. At the same time, the book bar pays attention to public welfare and convenience services, provides public welfare facilities such as charging interfaces and emergency medical products, and gives full play to the service capabilities of public cultural venues.

On the first day of opening, the book bar attracted many passengers and citizens to visit. Ms. Zheng, a citizen, was flipping through a copy of "Shenzhen Biography" in front of the bookshelf, and she said, "I recently planned to read this book, and I just happened to see (this book) here." Now many places have opened similar small books, you can feel that Shenzhen is a city that loves to read. ”

The opening, as the first store activity of "Shuxiang Metro", is not only a major event of Shenzhen Metro Group and Shenzhen Publishing Group, but also a happy event for Shenzhen to build a bookish society and establish a model of urban civilization.
