The Beijing Winter Olympics Global Music Works Collection Activity came to an end today, and the symphonic Peking Opera "Ice and Snow Huaguang" was successfully selected as an outstanding musical work of the Third Winter Olympic Games.
The world-renowned Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will be grandly opened on February 4. The Global Collection of Outstanding Musical Works for the Third Winter Olympics, co-sponsored by the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, came to an official conclusion on January 25, 2022. Nine outstanding musical works, including lyrics by veteran media personality Qin Zhanguo, famous composer Xie Zhenqiang, young musician Han Guang, and Peking Opera artist Yu Kuizhi and Li Shengsu, were successfully selected for the symphonic Peking Opera "Ice and Snow Huaguang".
