Before the show begins, DIOR brings our attention back to the haute couture workshop. In the silent workshop, we can only hear the busy tailoring of the craftsmen, and we can only see the silk threads in their hands moving back and forth, which is the moment when they cast their magic.

DIOR Spring/Summer 2022 Haute Couture Show has once again come to the old venue of the brand show, the Musée Rodin in Paris, and since 2013, DIOR has held haute couture launches in this french and romantic art museum, which has become the starting point for witnessing beauty.
Overlooking the entire show, the setting style is active and exquisite, and the beige wooden floor and the same-color indoor ceiling close the distance with the audience.
As the biggest highlight of the show space, it is undoubtedly the exquisite embroidered tapestry "painting" on the wall, which is like entering a wonderful whimsical world, while guiding the audience to focus on the real touch of haute couture.
It is worth mentioning that after the end of the show, these works will be open to the public from January 25 to 30 in the form of an art exhibition.
The live paintings originate from a couple of artists from India, Madhvi Parekh and Manu Parekh, who dare to question the old Indian customs, spiritual beliefs and power symbols of the Hindu gods, and are unique figures in the contemporary Indian art world. Husband Manu Parekh, who is also the first male artist Maria Grazia Chiuri has collaborated with since taking office, hopes to emphasize that gender differences are not opposing each other, but a complementary, long-term symbiotic existence.
Their paintings were hand-embroidered by craftsmen at the Mumbai Embroidery Girls' School Chanakya, and the installations throughout the runway totaled more than 340 square meters, using 380 craftsmen and taking 280,000 hours to complete. This reconstructs the roles of workshops, artists and fashion designers.
As a result, Maria Grazia Chiuri has created 64 unique and dreamy shapes with a subversive embroidery at its core.

The opening set of tights is the hallmark of the collection, made up of whole pieces of fabric that are sculpted with embroidery techniques that echo the crystal-embellished black leggings that envelop the body.
