In order to further deepen the feelings of the neighborhood, inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and advocate a healthy lifestyle of family virtues in the new era, from April 10th to 11th, residents of some communities organized by Zhonghan Street in Laoshan District, Qingdao City came to the Ruoqi Jewelry Culture and Art Museum to carry out a series of traditional handicraft production activities. And these are also the three offline activities of the "Riding the Wind and Waves, Spring Rhyme Laoshan" 2024 China-South Korea Street 3rd Good Craft Competition. Traditional handicrafts such as patchwork, enamel, and tie-dye give residents a taste of handmade craft.
At the handmade site of patchwork fabric, under the guidance of the teacher, we flew needles and threads, cut the fabrics of different colors according to the design patterns and sizes, and sewed the rags together with needles and threads, making exquisite and lovely "persimmons", and each "little persimmon" carried a beautiful meaning, and brought traditional culture into the hearts of residents.
At the enamel making site, the teacher first popularized the historical development and technology of enamel to the residents, and shared the production method through on-site teaching. Coloring, glazing, drying, fixing...... Everyone gave full play to their imagination and enjoyed the fun of handicraft.
At the tie-dye production site, everyone began to try it with great interest, from the basic design, binding to dyeing, and finally opening, pieces of ordinary fabric, after tie-dyeing, became unique and amazing.
"It's a great pleasure to have the opportunity to get together as old neighbors from our demolition community through this event. Ms. Wang of Liujiaxiazhuang Community said that the activity not only allowed them to feel the traditional charm of traditional handicrafts, but also strengthened the communication and interaction of residents in the production process, and enhanced the feelings of neighbors.
