Jiang Qinmin said in an interview with the "Daily New News" reporter: ""Life without language" is a story that I chose in 3 years, the characters created by the original work deeply touched me, the love story it describes can be said to be 'this love should only be in heaven', which is completely different from the love films that the audience has seen before, it chooses a perspective that ordinary people absolutely cannot imagine, in the pursuit of creation, I will shoot according to the characteristics of art films, focusing on creating a romantic and aesthetic atmosphere. ”
Due to the particularity of the identities of the characters in the film, the director placed the story in The Village of Bala, Tian'e County, Guangxi, just like the title of the film, it is a heavenly wonderland, isolated from the world, mysterious and lofty.
