Zodiac series pattern design is the "tradition" of Wang Hongwei's team over the years, and every year Wang Hongwei will lead the team members to design and create the zodiac pattern and develop cultural and creative products. This year's original design "Serious Tiger" series has been recognized by the Cultural and Creative Institutions of the Central Radio and Television Corporation, and has been polished several times and finally become a blessing.
Wang Hongwei named this zodiac tiger "Serious Tiger", the pattern uses a concise modeling language, the tiger head and copper coin pattern combined, in a four-way continuous composition of the way, the four tiger heads to one side, the negative shape is the coin hole, implying that the eight parties come to the wealth, hongfu is coming. The round-eyed tiger eyes look seriously ahead, domineering and cute, adding a bit of childlike fun to the pattern. The color boldly chose the combination of red and green ladder complementary color and gold, retro and stable.

The overall pattern creativity of "Serious Tiger" is to combine the traditional color elements of the East with the concise geometric expression methods of the West, reconstruct the creative thinking, create a newer and richer visual feeling, and interpret the traditional Chinese zodiac culture with a modern design language.
Based on the "Serious Tiger" pattern, Wang Hongwei's team finally selected three sets of cultural and creative product design ideas for series extension after several rounds of design adjustment and discussion: Lunar New Year Spring Paper, Creative Porcelain and Gift Silk Scarf.
Small blessing Big surprise
In the design process, Wang Hongwei's team hopes to incorporate some small fun and small attitudes according to the style of the pattern. First of all, from the traditional custom of handwriting the Spring League to explore the idea, the "serious tiger" of the four-square continuous pattern and the wadang couplet combined, "serious tiger" in the form of the pattern on the wadang couplet; secondly, the tiger culture occupies an important position in traditional Chinese culture, the tiger is a representative of auspicious and peaceful beast, often used as a town house, the design team will integrate this traditional concept with modern patterns, designed a full set of Chinese New Year spring joint paper products.

The design team hopes that the exquisite gift box design carries not only the decorative beauty and sense of ceremony, but also hopes that it is a highly functional product that can be used for multiple purposes, and the outer box is no longer a "disposable and disposable" packaging box, but after opening, flipping, and hanging, presenting a year-round hanging annual calendar, achieving the perfect combination of creativity and practicality.
In the process of design and development, the design team made many attempts to adjust the structure and process, and the final product finally achieved no bonding structure and did not destroy the overall picture of the annual calendar.
Wang Hongwei's team's "Serious Tiger" Fu Bao, with its exquisite patterns and design ingenuity, coincided with the production concept of the Cultural Creation of the Central Radio and Television Corporation, and finally joined forces to send the "Serious Tiger" to thousands of households across the country, adding blessings and happiness to everyone.

With last year's experience in making porcelain, this year's design team wants to make some new attempts, find an interesting expression between material and design, and combine patterns and craftsmanship, tradition and modernity, practicality and fun in the design concept.
Through multiple rounds of different types of collocation and proofing, the design team finally chose the microphone cup with microphone disc combination that is in line with the pattern presentation and sense of use, the round cup body adopts the whole body electroplating process, when the coffee cup is placed on the plate, the mirror surface generated by the electroplated silver makes the cup body reflect the pattern on the plate, and the centripetal "serious tiger" pattern 360 ° wraps the cup body, so that the cup body and the pattern on the saucer look at each other seriously, implying that the tiger is mighty.
The outsourced assembly color continues to continue the red and green design ideas, enlarging the red and green ratio of the pattern to the greatest extent, and condensing the retro contrast feeling in this gift.
