It's almost the New Year, and when the family gets together, it's the most relaxed time, but it's often also the time when the safety awareness is the weakest.
The following 10 safety hazards, please be patient to read, related to the life safety of every family!
Don't forget to forward it to family and friends after reading it.
01
Mix the two cleaners
As the New Year approaches, it is essential for every household to do a major cleaning.
But did you know that different cleaners mixed together not only do not double the effect, but can also cause danger?
Two children in Bengbu mixed toilet cleaner and 84 disinfectant into the basin, but they did not expect a chemical reaction, which triggered the tragedy of one death and multiple poisoning.
Obviously, they are all cleaning products, why can't they be mixed?
The main component of 84 disinfectant is sodium hypochlorite, and the main component of toilet cleaner is hydrochloric acid, and the mixture of the two will produce chlorine gas. Chlorine is a toxic gas that causes nausea, vomiting, chest pain and diarrhea.
Not only toilet cleaner and 84 disinfectant, other cleaning products can not be mixed, such as washing powder and 84 disinfectant, toilet cleaner and dish soap, mixed use is dangerous.
If you must use it, remember: between the two detergents, the interval is more than half an hour.
Usually, the cleaners in the home should also be carefully stored and placed out of the reach of children.

Pour flour next to the gas stove
In a home in Xiamen, when the husband and wife were cooking in the kitchen, they poured flour next to them to bake desserts in the oven, and a flash explosion occurred, and the windows of the home and the anti-theft net flew down from the upper floor.
Both burned more than 50% of the area, which was a very severe burn, and was already in critical condition when he was admitted to the hospital.
And the culprit of the tragedy is flour.
Many people do not know that flour is a very fine dust particle, which spreads into the air when dumped, and when it reaches a certain concentration, it will cause an explosion if it encounters even a trace of open flame.
The "Crisis Investigation" program once did experiments on flour explosions, and the results were shocking.
The program team poured flour on the lit fire, and as a result, the originally small flame quickly turned into a fire.
The program team used several baffles to simulate the enclosed space, also lit the flame, and used a blower to blow the flour up. This time, the flames quickly exploded, and the explosion scene was comparable to special effects.
Not only flour, but also combustible powder particles such as starch, sweet potato flour, coffee powder, milk powder and other combustible powder particles in life will also cause dust explosions.
When handling such ingredients, be careful not to pour them directly next to the lit gas stove.
03
Frozen food is placed directly into the oil pan
Frozen food that has not been thawed, if it is directly put into the oil pan, the ice on the outside of the food will quickly become water vapor, which will make the oil pan boil immediately, and the oil and food in the pot will be fried in an instant, which is likely to cause greater consequences.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Board conducted a simulation experiment in which a frozen turkey was placed directly into a hot oil pan. The moment the turkey is put into the oil pot, the oil pot is lit, and the fire quickly hits the simulated house next to it.
Frozen food must be thawed before being put into the oil pan.
Unless it is the kind of ingredient that has been marked as an ingredient that can be directly under the oil pan without thawing, it must not be careless.
Usually at home, in case of a fire in the oil pot, do not panic. If you know how to handle it correctly, you can turn the danger into a disaster.
The first step is to close the stove immediately;
The second step is to cover the pot.
In the case of a large fire, you can push the lid flat over the lid and wait for the oil pan to cool before opening.
04
Cook viscous food in a pressure cooker
A woman in Shandong province was cooking porridge in a pressure cooker when she found that the exhaust valve was blocked by the grains of rice, so she flicked it with her hand.
Unexpectedly, during her manual exhaust, the pressure cooker suddenly exploded, causing the woman's face and chest to be burned, and the scald area was very large, and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Pressure cookers are good, but when used improperly, such as aging, "over-aged" use, or cooking inappropriate food, it can easily become a "time bomb" in the kitchen.
The recommended service life of the pressure cooker is generally 5 years, and the rubber ring is generally 2 years;
Food should not exceed 4/5 of the amount of pot contents;
It is best not to use pressure cookers to cook thick foods such as porridge, which is easy to block the center hole and the vent hole of the safety valve;
When the heating to the pressure limiting valve makes a large hissing sound, the temperature should be cooled immediately;
If the jet sound suddenly stops, the fire should be turned off immediately and the power should be cut off;
The pressure cooker outlet must be often unblocked;
During use, the safety plug is found to be exhausted, and a new fusible sheet should be replaced in time.
05
Microwave hot eggs
Microwave ovens are convenient, but not everything can be thrown in.
Mr. Zhu of Wuhan, Hubei Province, filled a plastic bowl with water, put the eggs into the bowl and heated them in the microwave. Two minutes later the microwave was turned on, the eggs exploded, and the cracks flew everywhere.
Because Mr. Zhu was facing the microwave oven with his face, his eyes were severely damaged. After examination by the doctor, both eyelids and eyeballs were exploded, and both eyes were blind.
Why can't I put raw eggs in the microwave to heat up?
Unlike the heating method from the outside to the inside when steaming and cooking, the heat source at microwave comes from the inside of the object. When the microwave oven heats raw eggs, the internal pressure of the eggs continues to expand beyond the limits of the shell, which can easily cause an explosion.
And when opening the microwave oven, the egg also has a certain probability of being exploded twice, which is easy to cause harm to the body.
Not only eggs, but also sealed foods with hard shells or skins must be opened before they can be put in the microwave.
If you must heat your eggs in the microwave, you must peel them. Place raw eggs in a microwaveable container and use a toothpick or fork to puncture the membrane on the surface of the yolk; the cooked egg can be cut in half.
Also, use safe utensils when using the microwave. Like kraft paper bags, metal containers, tin foil, etc., can not be put in the microwave oven to heat.
The material that can be microwave heated is generally marked on the bottom of the container or on the outer packaging, and everyone must see clearly when buying and using.
06
Desiccant mixed with water
In the New Year, every family will prepare a variety of snacks and buy new shoes, most of which have desiccant in them.
Parents must tell their children: the desiccant can not be eaten, can not play, found to be thrown away in time.
Some desiccants encounter water and produce high-intensity explosions.
An 8-year-old boy who puts food desiccant into a drink bottle with water due to playfulness, causing an explosion. The terrible thing was that the liquid splashed into the boy's eyes, and after 20 minutes the boy's eyeballs were dissolved and he was blind for life.
This is because quicklime, the main component of the desiccant, reacts chemically when it meets water.
Not all desiccants explode when they meet water, and the explosion is mainly quicklime desiccant. But in ordinary life, it is difficult for children to distinguish between desiccant components.
For the safety of your child, be sure to handle the desiccant properly to avoid danger.
In case the desiccant accidentally enters the eye, immediately use a large amount of water, rinse from the inside of the eye to the outside for at least 10-15 minutes, can not be rubbed by hand, and seek medical treatment as soon as possible after washing;
In case of accidental ingestion, remember not to drink water, nor to induce vomiting, and seek medical attention as soon as possible.
07
Several cold medicines are mixed and eaten
Many people think that cold medicine can be taken casually, increase the dose by themselves, and eat several kinds of mixed, thinking that the cold is cured and it will be fine.
A man in Nanjing took 3 or 4 kinds of cold medicines in a row after catching a cold, and as a result, he suffered from severe liver and kidney failure.
There are many types of cold medicines, although the names are different, but they are compound preparations, if taken in combination, it is equivalent to increasing the dose of the drug, and the risk of adverse reactions will increase exponentially.
Remind everyone that cold medicine must not be mixed with eating, the effect is not good, you should seek medical treatment in time.
08
Spray insecticides when firing
A housewife was cooking in the kitchen and found several cockroaches under the gas stove. She grabbed a bottle of pesticide and sprayed it at the gas stove that was on fire, resulting in an explosion.
The kitchen was quickly invaded by the fire, and 85% of the housewife's body was burned, and when she was taken to the hospital, she was unable to rescue her due to heart and lung failure.
Almost all insecticidal sprays have highly volatile and flammable solvents. The spray that is sprayed spreads extremely quickly, and it only takes a little spark to ignite, and it is easy to explode.
When using pesticides, be sure to stay away from the source of fire and open windows in time for ventilation.
09
Eat hot pot without opening the window
New Year's dinner, eating hot pot is the favorite of many families.
In a hot pot restaurant in Shanghai, 11 people from 4 families ate a hot pot dinner, and as a result, they ate something wrong, 2 children fainted on the spot, and other children also had symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, and nausea.
Fortunately, the medical treatment was sent in time, and there was no major obstacle after rescue.
Remind everyone: do not eat hot pot in confined spaces, especially charcoal hot pot.
Because when gas and coal are not burned sufficiently, they will produce a large amount of colorless and odorless carbon monoxide, which is difficult for people to detect. If the doors and windows are closed at this time, forming a closed space, people are prone to carbon monoxide poisoning inside.
When eating hot pot, it is best to open the door and keep it ventilated.

The car is heated to sleep
Friends who drive home for the New Year, must pay attention to opening the window for ventilation on the road.
It was cold, the car closed the windows for a long time and the warm air was open, the gasoline was not burning enough, and the carbon monoxide produced was concentrated in the car. Moreover, the breathing of the people in the car discharges a large amount of carbon dioxide, and after a long time, the people in the car will be unconsciously poisoned, lose consciousness, and even lose their lives.
A car owner in Shenyang waited for his wife in the car, felt cold and turned on the warm wind, and slowly fell asleep, carbon monoxide poisoning almost lost his life.
Driving for a long time, be sure to pay attention to ventilation in the car. Parking to open the warm air to sleep, it is easy to cause carbon monoxide poisoning, you can open the window of the car a slit to keep the air circulating. During driving, you should also often roll down the window to ventilate.
These 10 safety accidents, one after another, are painful lessons. It is about to be the New Year, the weather is dry, and the safety of fire and electricity at home should be more careful.
