However, consumers told reporters that the actual use experience of the Street View Map app was seriously inconsistent with the advertising campaign.

In the interview, many consumers said that the Street View Map App needs to be paid to use, and after paying, they found that they could not find the Street View map they wanted to see. The reporter downloaded a Street View Map App and found that only members could be queried, so the reporter spent 68 yuan to buy a 3-month membership. I then searched for multiple locations, all of which said "There is no Street View information for this location." Some consumers also reported that due to the design of the Street View Map App to open a membership interface, they mistakenly thought that it was 1 cent to open a membership, and until the payment was completed, they found that they had been deducted 168 yuan.

IT home learned that there are consumers who say that the street scene is very different from the actual situation, in the countryside and even to the production team, the map shows the street scene, but the consumer said, where is the production team where there is a street, where is the zebra crossing, where is the traffic light? This look is false.

A search for "Street View Map" on an Internet complaint platform showed more than 500 complaints, mainly focusing on the app's "false publicity" and "difficulty in refunding".

For the problem of mismatched goods and refund problems encountered by consumers, legal experts interpreted that merchants obviously know that they do not have the ability to provide street view maps of cities across the country, let alone the ability to provide real-time street view maps of street view, so inducing consumers to buy maps has violated the provisions of laws and regulations such as the General Principles of Civil Law of the Mainland and the Consumer Rights and Interests Protection Law.

The lawyer said that the act belonged to the intention of having obvious malicious fraud, and at the same time, the merchant used a prominent position to induce consumers to buy with a large font of 0.01 yuan for the whole year, but in fact, the annual membership price of 168 yuan was marked in a smaller font in an inconspicuous place, with obvious malicious fraud components.
