The famous dance teacher "Cloud" teaches and shows the diversity of art
At 10:00 a.m. on October 2nd, this special webcast tour began with a ballet master teaching demonstration class by Lin Meifang, a special expert of Shanghai Dance School. Teacher Lin Meifang has trained a large number of ballet stars such as Tan Yuanyuan, Ji Pingping, Yao Wei, Fang Zhongjing, Yu Hang, etc., and she showed the daily classroom teaching methods online, so that the audience can understand the sweat and tears behind those dance spirits.

Xue Jinghua, a former national first-class actor of the National Ballet of China, combined her own experience in participating in the performance and shared the story behind the stage of the red ballet "Red Detachment of Women". Jing Yao, a senior lecturer of folk dance from Shanghai Dance School, taught Tibetan dance and Northeast Yangge, two dances with distinct artistic characteristics, so that the audience could feel the power and beauty of ethnic folk dance. Chen Yan, a national first-class actor of Shanghai Ballet, shared the Pilates practice techniques and movement combinations used by ballet dancers in their daily training to help the audience learn to shape scientifically.

The latest dance videos are screened, presenting a new form of cross-border integration of art
In addition to the online teaching of various "dance space" cloud classrooms, the online public welfare series of activities for the fifth anniversary celebration also arranged the broadcast of two dance video works in the second contemporary dance biennale.
Dance video, as a new artistic form of cross-border integration of dance art and new technology media, presents a richer possibility of dance art through the symbiosis and interaction between the lens and the dancer. At present, the development of dance images in the dance industry at home and abroad is in the ascendant. In the 2021 Second Contemporary Dance Biennale, launched by the China Dance Association and the Shanghai International Dance Center, a special section of dance video was opened to showcase the achievements of domestic cutting-edge dance video creation.
In this 5th anniversary series, two works of different styles were selected from the dance video works exhibited at the Biennale. Among them, the dance documentary "Youyou Vision" exchanges the creation process of the Shanghai International Dance Center Theater's self-made vegetarian dance theater "Youyou Horizon" with video records, and outlines the story of the front and backstage of the stage during the birth of a dance work for the audience. The dance video version of "Entropy" reconstructs the stage work of the same name in a visual way, borrowing the physical concept of "entropy", which measures the degree of chaos of the system, and presenting a collision between dance and physics through the expression of limbs and lenses.

As the highlight of the 5th anniversary series of live broadcast activities, the 5th anniversary celebration online public welfare performance of Shanghai International Dance Center on the evening of October 2 gathered the latest outstanding creations of "two groups and two schools". In recent years, all units of Shanghai International Dance Center have adhered to their original intentions, continued to work in the field of dance art, fully excavated the connotation of red culture, Shanghai culture and Jiangnan culture, created a large number of artistic masterpieces, and achieved excellent results in the selection of "Lotus Award" and "Shanghai Newcomer New Works". The public welfare performance selected 9 works from the new artistic creations of various units of the dance center in recent years to be presented on the stage of the fifth anniversary, and in this National Day holiday, dance art was used to celebrate the birthday of the motherland.
