Keith: I've been through dark moments and I'm proud of how I'm doing today

On September 7, 2017, New York local time, AFP reported that in May, Madison Case fell to the bottom and once doubted whether she could win a tennis match, but now, she has successfully reached the semi-final of the US Open.

On Wednesday, she beat Estonian veteran Kanepi 6-3, 6-3 at Arthur Ashe Stadium to secure the final spot in the semifinals, the first time since 1981 that an American player has won all the places in the semifinals of the US Open.

"I'm really excited and proud of all of us." Keith said. "The Americans took all the places."

Case had previously fallen to the bottom, leaving miami, Charleston, Madrid and Roma early before being eliminated in the second round of the French Open before undergoing her second left wrist surgery in 10 months.

"There will definitely be a lot of dark moments." Keith said. "A lot of things have come out of their heads all year, and a lot of times they've been really low."

"There was a time when I was leaving and I said, 'I don't even know if I can play tennis again.'"

But when he won her third career WTA singles title at Stanford, everything went round and round, and she beat her semi-final opponent Van der Wieger.

"It feels really good and I'm proud of myself." Keith said. "It means everything to me."
