Max from Ghana and Amu from Pakistan, are two international students from Binzhou Medical College's School of Foreign Chinese, affected by the epidemic, they have been celebrating the Spring Festival in China for three consecutive years, and the strong Spring Festival atmosphere has made them less homesick in a foreign country and more personal experience of traditional Chinese culture.
"Before coming to China, I heard a lot of strange stories, but after I came, I found that China is very good, especially the cultural atmosphere of the Spring Festival is particularly strong, and I learned more about traditional Chinese culture through the Spring Festival." Max told reporters that he ate a lot of traditional Chinese food through the Spring Festival, and almost every traditional food is rich in a story, so he also learned more about traditional culture.
Max and Ammu both said that the biggest value of the Spring Festival is that family and friends can get together, play games, or share life experiences, etc. "In the past few years in China, teachers and students of Binzhou Medical College have also organized a lot of activities, they can play together, share gifts with each other, make games to win prizes, etc., and have a very happy time." Although we have not returned to Pakistan for three years, it is a great honor to spend the Spring Festival in China, which is our second home, and the teachers and classmates take good care of us, just like our parents at home. Ammu said.
