Andy Lau's "Thirteen Taibao on the Beach", the memories of a generation

When I was a child, I watched a very impressive movie "Shanghai Beach Thirteen Taibao", when Hua Tsai had just debuted, his face was childish, and he only remembered that the film was very wonderful. Fight from start to finish. At that time, watching movies was not as convenient as it is now, so I had to go to the video store on the street to rent VCD discs and watch them with my classmates. Later, after watching "October Siege", the producer claimed that there were 60 minutes of play when promoting, and if it was less than 60 minutes, the ticket could be refunded. If Mr. Zhang Che was still alive, when he heard this, he would probably have to say dismissively: "Sixty minutes is nothing, I didn't have a few minutes back then that I didn't fight." Nearly 30 years have passed, and the plot of the play is still fresh in my memory, especially Guan Wei, a student played by Andy Lau, received a box lunch shortly after his appearance, which is very regrettable.

Thirteen Taibao, one husband and one husband! Prodigal rich man, godhead fast knife, student young master, bear tiger eagle leopard, glasses cigarette mouthpiece, long gun can not escape! This line is still catchy to memorize. In fact, the original order should be "thirteen Taibao, one husband and one husband." Teach the head of the fast knife, the prodigal rich man, the student young master, the bear, the tiger, the eagle and the leopard, the glasses and the cigarette butt, and the spear can not escape. In order to rhyme with the reading, the godhead fast knife was changed with the prodigal rich man. Among them, the leopard is divided into the big leopard Yuan Hai and the little leopard Yuan Jiang, so the thirteen Taibao is actually fourteen people.

"Shanghai Beach Thirteen Taibao" is a kung fu film directed by Zhang Che and starring Dillon, Chen Guantai, Cheng Tianci, etc., which can be regarded as the 80s version of "October Siege", which was produced in 1984. However, in the 1980s, there were few television sets in the mainland of China, not to mention video recorders and DVDs, so the time when it was really popular on the mainland was in the 90s. The film tells that during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the patriot Mr. Gao learned that Wang Jingwei's puppet nationalist government was preparing to hold so-called peace talks with the Japanese Empire, in fact, he wanted to use the power of the Japanese invaders to supervise his puppet regime and make the Chinese people in the occupied areas become slaves to the country. In order to expose Wang Jingwei's traitorous behavior, Gao and Tao prepared to bring the news from Shanghai to Hong Kong and make it public, so that the people would know the truth about Wang Jingwei's puppet Nationalist government's traitorous country and glory. It was a movie full of patriotic feelings, and it was hilarious to watch at that time. Later, after learning a lot of historical knowledge, I learned that this is adapted from real history, Mr. Gao is Gao Zongwu, Tao Ye is Tao Xisheng, and the prototype of Shen Gangfu should be Du Yuesheng, a gangster of the Shanghai Beach Green Gang, and this incident is the famous "Gao Tao Incident" in the Republic of China period. The "Gao Tao Incident" was an important historical event that occurred during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and its main characters were Gao Zongwu and Tao Xisheng. Later, Chiang Kai-shek was a high-ranking official of the Nationalist Government, and on the eve of victory in the Liberation War, he was listed as a war criminal alongside Chiang Kai-shek, Soong Mei-ling, Li Zongren, and so on. Gao Zongwu later went to the United States and assumed the pseudonym Gao Qichang. It is worth mentioning that twenty-seven years after the "Gao Tao Incident", that is, in February 1967, Tao Xisheng was happily reunited with Gao Zongwu in Washington, D.C. The two old men reminisced about the past together and expressed infinite emotion. Gao Zongwu and Tao Xisheng were once wang jingwei's close associates, the earliest initiators and important participants in wang's "peace movement", and they followed Wang Jingwei to Shanghai to participate in the Wang-Ri negotiations. However, they lost their way and returned, suddenly realized, restrained themselves from the precipice, and finally did not become zhou Fohai, Chen Gongbo and other ethnic traitors, so from the perspective of national righteousness, the behavior of the two is admirable and wise.

Gao Zongwu (1905-1994), a native of Yueqing, Zhejiang. At the age of 29, he served as the director of the Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Nationalist Government at the time, specializing in diplomacy with Japan, and was the youngest senior diplomat in the Nationalist government at that time. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 1937, Gao Zongwu accepted a special task to take charge of intelligence work against Japan in Hong Kong. Gao Zongwu had a certain understanding of Japan's strength, believing that the disparity in strength between China and Japan was enormous, and that once a brutal war broke out, it would be ruined and China might suffer heavy losses, so he hoped to avoid or postpone the war. It was precisely because of this understanding that Gao Zongwu began to become the pioneer of Wang Jingwei's traitorous activities to the enemy, following Wang Jingwei to participate in the "peace" movement in the early stage of the War of Resistance Against Japan, which was highly used by Wang Jingwei, and later participated in the formation of the Wang puppet regime and the so-called "peace" negotiations with the Japanese.

In the course of the negotiations, Gao Zongwu and Tao Xisheng gradually realized that the so-called "peace seeking" would inevitably become the fact of surrender, and Japan's wolf ambitions were fully exposed, with the ultimate goal of slaughtering China and destroying China. Wang Jingwei's so-called "peace" movement is a complete surrender and traitor, and if such a traitorous treaty is signed, he will surely become a sinner of the Chinese nation for eternity.

On the eve of the opening of the Wang puppet regime, Gao Zongwu and Tao Xisheng lost their way and returned, and on January 3, 1940, the two fled Shanghai and arrived in Hong Kong, where they joined hands with Tao Xisheng to publish the "Wang-Ri Secret Treaty" in the Hong Kong "Ta Kung Pao", revealing the true face of Wang Jingwei's treason and surrender to the enemy.

Hong Kong's "Ta Kung Pao" published the letter from Gao Zongwu and Tao Xisheng to the newspaper, as well as the "Outline for the Adjustment of the New Relations between Japan and China" and the full text of the annex they brought out. On the same day, many newspapers in Chongqing, Kunming, Shanghai and at home and abroad were also published

The full text of this traitorous treaty is contained. The headline in Hong Kong's Ta Kung Pao on January 22 was:

Gaozong Wu Tao Xisheng published with Hong Kong

The full text of Wang Zhaoming's conditions for treason

The dream of the sun valve for many years!

The crime of treason in chinese and foreign history!

From the present to the future from the material to the idea

The headlines of the Day in Chongqing's Ta Kung Pao were:

Gaozong Wu Tao Xisheng was exposed in Hong Kong

Wang forged a traitorous secret covenant

Send the secret photographs to the government

Another letter was sent to the Hong Kong edition of this newspaper for publication

The "Wang-Ri Secret Treaty" was publicly disclosed in the media, causing no less shock to Japan and the Wang puppet clique than a bombshell, publicizing Wang Jingwei's wolf ambition of betraying the country and seeking glory to the world, and making the compatriots throughout the country more aware of the japanese aggressors' sinister intentions in attempting to destroy China and Wang's rebellious traitorous face, thus strengthening their determination to resist the war to the end, and also prompting some confused people in the anti-Japanese camp who originally had illusions about Japan to abandon their illusions and sober up their minds. When some people criticized Gao and Tao for morally betraying and reusing Wang Jingwei, Gao and Tao Yizheng openly stated that they had participated in the Wang-Japan negotiations and should have a moral duty to keep secrets, but when they learned of "the Japanese side's attempt to secede and destroy China," the Wang Jingwei organization "could not be obtained and privately kept secret," and "Xi sheng Zongwu and others were independent, free, and subsistence plans for millions of compatriots and generations of descendants, and believed that the above-mentioned moral responsibilities no longer existed." Just as the so-called national righteousness is above all else, history has proved that the choice of Gao and Tao is extremely correct and wise. Wang Jingwei, Chen Gongbo. Zhou Fohai and others were eventually permanently nailed to the pillar of shame. As Lu Yao said, there are many intersections in life, but the key is only one or two, once you take a different road, your future life will be different. The same is true of history, where there is only one outcome in the end, no ifs.

Just like watching hilarity when we were young, looking back at the movies of our childhood when we grow up, more time gives us cognition. The years are fleeting, and looking back at the movies of 30 years ago, the scenes are still in front of you. It's just that today's us, more is not the vicissitudes of the years, but also the precipitation of feelings. From Shanghai Beach to October Siege, it is not only from the VCD disc to the current iQiyi, but also our lives. Remember the youth of the wind and snow and the backpack that has passed through the years, and cherish everything in front of you.
