Tiger Hill Mountain "Tiger Fu Zen Temple" plaque "new"! Yesterday morning, the Management Office of Huqiu Mountain Scenic Area re-hung two heavyweight old plaques that had been renovated earlier, "Guwu Range Rover" and "Hufu Zen Temple", at the entrance of the Toushan Gate of Tiger Hill Scenic Area, and welcomed tourists with a new look on the eve of the Spring Festival.

At about 9:00 a.m., the reporter saw at the entrance of the scenic area toushan that workers were hoisting the new "Hufu Zen Temple" plaque with ropes, and many tourists at the scene were watching and taking pictures. The new "Hufu Zen Temple" plaque, 1.9 meters high, 2.2 meters wide, weighing more than 300 pounds, is centered on the imperial seal of the "Treasure of the Kangxi Imperial Pen", and the plaque is surrounded by the nine dragons spitting pearl cloud dragon pattern, showing the royal style.

Guo Mingxiong, senior engineer of the management department of the scenic spot management office, introduced the historical origin of the "Hufu Zen Temple" and "Ancient Wu Range Rover" plaques to reporters. "Hufu" is synonymous with "Tiger Hill", "Hufu Zen Temple" was named "Yunyan Zen Temple" in the Song Dynasty, and the folk also known as "Tiger Hill Temple". In 1661, when the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty visited Huqiu, he personally gave the four-character golden plaque of "Hufu Zen Temple", which is high inside the hanging door, which has a history of more than 300 years. The "Guwu Range Rover" plaque was written by the Suzhou calligrapher Wu Zengshan in 1935, "Guwu" symbolizes the long history of Suzhou City, and "Range Rover" contains the meaning of the beautiful scenery and profound heritage of Tiger Hill Mountain, which has been favored by tourists since ancient times. As the "head plaque" of the south gate of Tiger Hill, "Ancient Wu Range Rover" points out the long history and humanistic value of Tiger Hill.

After a hundred years of wind and rain erosion, the patent skin of the old "Hufu Zen Temple" plaque has peeled off, covered with dust and dullness, and there are also certain safety risks. In order to restore its former glory, the Tiger Hill Scenic Area Management Office invited Zhang Fukang, the representative inheritor of the traditional architectural construction technology project of the Xiangshan Gang in Wuzhong District, to re-paint and apply gold under the premise of maintaining the overall appearance of the plaque, and decorate it according to the traditional craft, which is comparable to "beauty". Guo Mingxiong said that the plaque is the façade symbol of Tiger Hill, and giving the "Hufu Zen Temple" plaque a "beauty" can not only protect the ancient plaque, but also bring a better viewing experience to citizens and tourists.
