On the 17th local time, Slovenian Prime Minister Janša was interviewed by India's official media All India Television. It is worth noting that in the interview of about 30 minutes, the anchors of the All India Television Station frequently threw out China-related issues, and Yang Sha mentioned China 15 times, making a big fuss about the Taiwan issue, neutral relations and Sino-European relations. Among them, he revealed that Slovenia is negotiating with Taiwan to set up a representative office and other pro-Taiwan remarks, which have aroused great concern from the Taiwan authorities and taiwan media.

On January 19, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian presided over a regular press conference. A reporter asked: The relevant leaders of Slovenia said that they will set up representative offices with Taiwan.

In this regard, Zhao Lijian said: We have noted the Slovenian leader's blatant remarks about challenging the one-China principle and supporting "Taiwan independence." We are deeply shocked and strongly opposed to this.

Zhao Lijian stressed: There is only one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory, the Government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legitimate government representing all of China, and the one-China principle is a universally recognized norm governing international relations and the universal consensus of the international community, as well as the political foundation for Sino-Sri lankan and Sino-European relations. China must be reunified, and it is bound to be reunified, and no one should underestimate the strong determination, firm will and strong ability of the Chinese people to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
