Wen Guohui, male, Han ethnicity, born in September 1963, Jiexi, Guangdong, began working in July 1984, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1984, master's degree.

He served as director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangdong Province, secretary of the Shanwei Municipal Party Committee of Guangdong Province, and vice governor of Guangdong Province, and became the mayor of Guangzhou in 2016 before stepping down in December 2021.
