Official news, Spurs and team captain Lowry signed a new contract for 2 and a half years, a new contract until 2024.
Since joining Lyon in August 2012, the 35-year-old Lowry has made 395 appearances for Tottenham, the 14th in Tottenham's history and the 12th player in Tottenham's history to make more than 400 appearances for the club.
Lowry is the first player in Tottenham's history to make more than 300 appearances and has started 67 consecutive Premier League games.
Lowry is also the first goalkeeper in Tottenham's history to keep a 100-game clean sheet in the Premier League, a figure that has increased to 112, and he is also one of only 16 goalkeepers in Premier League history to keep a clean sheet in 100 games.
