The delegation of our city attending the Fifth Session of the Thirteenth People's Congress of the Autonomous Region today deliberated the work reports of the two chambers and the "Rules of Procedure of the People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Revised Draft)" in the Guigang Hall of the Guangxi People's Hall.

Fan Xiaoli, deputy secretary of the party leading group of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Regional People's Congress, participated in the discussion; He Luchun, head of the delegation of our city, presided over the discussion; and Zhu Huidong and Yan Jiuqiu, deputy heads of the delegation, participated in the discussion.

Fan Xiaoli said in her speech that the work report of the "two courts" of the autonomous region fully embodies Xi Jinping's rule of law thinking, highlights the ruling concept of justice for the people, adheres to the value orientation of fair justice, and stands tall, has a clear theme and detailed content. In the past year, the "two courts" of the autonomous region have faithfully performed their statutory duties and achieved remarkable results in safeguarding national security, social stability, and building a higher level of safety in Guangxi and rule of law in Guangxi. It is recommended to continue to consolidate and expand the results of the study and education of party history and the education and rectification of the political and legal contingent; continue to strengthen communication and exchanges with people's congress deputies and CPPCC members; continue to deepen the reform of the judicial system, further enhance the level of judicial capacity at the grass-roots level, and better safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

In his speech, He Luchun said that the work report of the Autonomous Region's Higher People's Court closely focuses on the goal of "striving to let the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case," actively performs the duties entrusted by the Constitution and the law, and serves to ensure high-quality economic development. The work report of the people's procuratorate of the autonomous region adheres to the people-centered development thinking, faithfully performs the duties entrusted by the Constitution and the law, and has made effective progress in all aspects of work and achieved remarkable results.

Deputies Gan Chenghui, Meng Kunwei, Xie Shangguo, Lei Zhen, Huang Yingmei, Lan Sheng, Wei Xinrui, Cao Xucheng, and Deng Lingling fully affirmed the positive contributions made by the "two courts" of the autonomous region to the construction of safe Guangxi and rule of law in Guangxi.

Qin Xuequn, Li Ting, Li Yongmeng, Qin Yingjiao, Liu Yaocheng, Lin Jiafu, Mo Wei, Huang Danhong, Li Xiujuan, Zhao Rongju, Lin Huade, Yang Jing, Li Fengqing, Yu Jinping, Pan Yaoquan, Liu Guanghua, Li Lin, Chen Huosheng, Lin Zhen, Huang Liangmei, Pan Ping, and other deputies suggested that greater efforts be made to promote the prosecution of public interest litigation, vigorously carry out propaganda and educational activities in schools, villages, and enterprises, and intensify the handling of judicial cases in the field of people's livelihood, food and medicine, and involving the rights and interests of women and children.

Deputies Zhou Jinjun, Li Zhongning, Nong Yingfu, and Liang Hai suggested consolidating and deepening the achievements of the education and rectification of the political and legal contingent, creating a good business environment based on the rule of law, and maintaining the order of fair competition and the principle of good faith. Intensify efforts to crack down on cases of "telecommunications fraud", illegal modification of electric vehicles, ecological and environmental protection violations, and continuously enhance the people's sense of gain, happiness and security.

The meeting unanimously agreed to submit the "Rules of Procedure of the People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Revised Draft revision)" to the congress for voting.

The meeting also prepared various candidates and candidate lists, and nominated the director voters and scrutineers of the conference.
