On the 20th local time, 19-year-old British Belgian girl Zara Rutherford landed smoothly in the western part of Belgium, successfully creating a new record for the youngest person to fly alone around the world. Lasting 155 days, Rutherford completed a 51,000-kilometer flight across five continents.
She said there were amazing moments throughout the trip, as well as moments that made me feel terrified.
Rutherford's parents were both pilots, and from the age of 14 she began flying solo.
