Shang Xiangang, chief of staff of the brigade, said that the brigade closely follows actual combat, distinguishes between individual soldiers, squads, companies, and other combat units in different specialties such as missiles, artillery, and radar, draws up training plans, formulates detailed rules for assessment, and integrates and intersperses more than 20 physical fitness, skills, and service subjects.
"The difficulty of the assessment has increased greatly, although it is much more tiring than before, but it is closer to the real battlefield, so that my actual combat skills have been tempered and tested." Corporal Li Guorui said.
