When the man booked a room in the hotel and was ready to check in, he was rejected by the front desk reception and called the hotel manager. The manager smiled and told him that he could arrange a presidential suite for free, just hoping that he would not stay in the room he had booked earlier, but the man refused, saying that he wanted to live in that room.
The man's name is Mike, a horror novelist who likes to find inspiration through some of the weird rooms, and the room he booked is the 1408 room that never opens. Since the hotel opened in 1912, a total of 56 people have died in room 1408, and the death situation is even strange, and even some people drowned in chicken soup.
Seeing Mike so insistent, the manager wanted Mike to come to his office and talk. When he arrived at the office, the manager smiled and again begged Mike not to stay in Room 1408, and even bribed him with three or nine years of whiskey, but Mike refused.
To him, all the weird rooms were nothing more than a gimmick to attract guests, but the manager told Mike that no one could be an hour late in room 1408. Pulling out a thick notepad, Mike opened it, and the first page was the first victim.
Died in the first week of the hotel's opening in 1912, slitting his throat in a bathtub. Mike continued to look through, and each page was a guest who died in Room 1408, which further aroused Mike's interest and asked the manager to give him the room key, otherwise he would complain. He had to agree.
So he took out the key to Room 1408 from the front desk and sent Mike to the elevator downstairs 14, when the manager warned Mike again not to stay in Room 1408, and Mike simply ignored the warning. Mike went to Room 1408 alone. In the hallway, Mike flipped through his notepad and looked at the pictures of the dead.
When she looked up again, she was back at the elevator entrance, as if there was a force in the darkness that did not want him to go to room 1408. So Mike put down his notepad and walked intently toward 1408. Finally arrived at Room 1408, Mike knocked on the door first, there was nothing unusual, and then took out the key to open the door, there was no abnormality.
Went into the room and turned on the lights, everything was normal in the house. Mike sneered, closed the door, and then began to check all the rooms, the bathroom was normal, the toilet paper was normal, and there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator, just the air conditioning was on. A bit shabby. Mike sat on the bed and looked at everything in the room, and there was nothing unusual except that there was some dirt on the ground and some strange words on the wall.
Then Mike put down the bottle, went to the window, opened the window, looked out the window, and everything was normal outside. Just then, the radio came to mind on its own, and directly startled Mike. Mike turned his head to see that the bed he had made before had actually been re-laid (like the collection we will continue to explain in the next issue).
