Yangcheng Evening News all-media reporter learned from Zhongshan Bus Group on January 20 that due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, 2920 students from Tanzhou and Zhuhai in Zhongshan City were stranded in school. In order to ensure that students from all schools smoothly and safely embark on the way home, Zhongshan Bus Group actively responded to the call of the Zhongshan Municipal Bureau of Education and Sports to open a "campus through train" and provide a "one-stop" shuttle service to make the way home for stranded students to be more convenient and safer.

On the afternoon of January 16, after receiving the task of transferring stranded students from the Zhongshan Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, Zhongshan Bus Group carried out a thorough investigation of the students' riding situation for the first time, determined the time and number of centralized returns, customized the scientific operation plan, arranged the number of trains, and was familiar with the direction of each school line. From January 19 to January 26, Zhongshan Bus Group will arrange 80 trains to escort 2,920 students back home from school, providing one-stop seamless passenger transportation services from school gate to station and "from station to doorstep" for students returning to Zhuhai.

Before the transfer, the vehicle responsible for receiving and transporting has strictly implemented comprehensive disinfection, ventilation and other epidemic prevention measures, and the vehicle is equipped with disposable masks, disinfectants and other epidemic prevention materials. At 12:00 on January 19, the first batch of buses escorting students home arrived at YangXianyi Middle School in Zhongshan City on time. At the scene, the driver guided the students of each school to take the corresponding vehicles in an orderly manner and assisted in carrying luggage and items, urging students to wear masks, show health codes, monitor body temperature, etc., to ensure that personal protection work can only be done before getting on the bus, and go all out to create a safe, efficient, hygienic and comfortable riding environment.

At 12:30, Master Su, who was in charge of the first bus, drove the happy students out of the campus in only 1 hour, successfully escorting the students to the Tanzhou Jindouwan Bus Station, saving half the time compared with the daily bus operation. After arriving at the bus station, the volunteers of Tanzhou Town held up the "Campus Express - Tanzhou Pick-up and Drop-off Point" guidance board to standardize the distinction between the parent waiting area and the student drop-off point, and guide parents and students to divert and pick up and drop off in an orderly manner.

On January 19, Zhongshan Bus Group picked up more than 2,000 students from 17 schools, including Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School, Zhongshan Diyin Public School, and Zhongshan East District Middle School, to Tanzhou Jindouwan Bus Station, providing students with safe, fast and comfortable rides. In the following week, nearly 1,000 remaining Tanzhou and Zhuhai students will be escorted home.

"I've been staying on campus for 13 days, and I was so excited to hear the news of a bus pick-up the day before yesterday that I could go home tonight and eat my mother's meal." After speaking, Fan, a senior at Longshan Middle School, bowed deeply to the bus driver to express his gratitude, and the carriage was also filled with smiling faces looking forward to reuniting with his relatives.
