Writer Zhan Dongxin

"Morning and Dusk Line" is a fictional novel that records the 45-year experience of a Chinese captain, reflecting the vicissitudes of China, especially civil aviation, from the side. "Ten Thousand Miles of Clouds" is a non-fiction literary work, writing about real people and real events. Recently, at the reading meeting of Zhan Dong's new works, he introduced that "Ten Thousand Miles of Clouds" looks relatively scattered, like a long essay, in fact, there is an internal logic, from the design of aircraft, manufacturing aircraft, flying aircraft, commanding aircraft, supporting aircraft down a line, involving many characters, including pilots, controllers, aircraft maintenance personnel, aviation meteorologists, as well as the ground bird team, lighting division team and so on. The entire aviation industry is very large and complex, and can only select certain characters and certain fragments to make a preliminary presentation of the entire aviation industry; most of the people in the book are not known to the public, although "nameless", but they are conscientious in their respective positions, strive to forge ahead, and contribute to the development of mainland aviation, so they focus on them. Portraits of these aviation "little people" are a major feature of this book. (Xinwen)
