Today, the Fifth Session of the 13th People's Congress of Hunan Province successfully completed its agenda and successfully concluded. I was honored to attend the meeting and to be able to listen to the speech of Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the provincial party committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, and Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee and governor of the province, make a government work report at the Great Hall of the People.
As a grassroots representative, I listened to Governor Mao Weiming's government report, and my excitement could not be calmed for a long time. The report summarizes the achievements and seeks truth from facts, analyzes the problems objectively and accurately, and the deployment work is practical and powerful, which embodies the "people-centered" development thinking everywhere, which makes people feel warm.
At the meeting, I fulfilled the sacred duty of the provincial people's congress deputies and submitted three proposals, including Rucheng County as a demonstration county for party building and rural revitalization in the province. "Poverty alleviation is not the end, but the starting point of a new life and a new struggle", keeping in mind the entrustment of General Secretary Xi Jinping, consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation, and continuing to promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas, it is the goal of our grassroots cadres.
Since September 2020, in the development of modern agriculture, Shazhou Village has kept in mind the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Hunan and the instructions of Chenzhou's important speech, through the development of farmers' cooperatives, etc., to promote the moderate expansion of special fruits and vegetables such as Nai Li and Small Yellow Ginger, and strengthen scientific and technological services for farmers through the "three going to the countryside" activities, "everyone has skills" training, agricultural experts "field classrooms" and other ways, improve the quality of agricultural products, rely on the red resources of Shazhou scenic spots, and promote the development of characteristic agriculture and farmers' income. In 2021, the per capita disposable income of villagers in Shazhou Village reached 17,100 yuan, an increase of 2,100 yuan year-on-year.
Next, I will take the spirit of this conference as the guide, as always, lead the cadres and masses of Shazhou to fight with one heart and one mind to the party and unite, take the satisfaction of the masses as the only criterion for testing the effectiveness of the work, so that the lives of the masses will be more and more hopeful, the development of scenic spots will be more and more motivated, and we will strive to create a "national rural revitalization demonstration village"!
