Only sell houses and not land! Sydney four-bedroom homes are free to give, but buyers need to move the house

A four-bedroom house in Kirrawee, south of Sydney, goes on the market. Curiously, the house is free to send, but does not include the plot, and the buyer needs to relocate the house as a whole at his own expense.

The seller said the house is 60 years old and has two bathrooms. The house is free, but needs to be relocated. It also means that buyers looking to pick up bargains need to move their homes to a new location at their own expense.

The listing posted on Facebook read, "In good condition, no structural problems or pests." Deliveries begin in March and only need to pay the relocation fee. The current rent is $700 per week. ”

An ad posted on Gumtree reads that the house has a modern kitchen and laundry.

According to the RealEstate website, the home, along with the land, is valued at $1.56 million. But the value of the land itself may account for the majority. In September last year, a vacant 670 square metre plot of land was sold for $1.32 million.

The median house price in the Kirrawee area is $1.3 million, slightly lower than Sydney's $1.5 million.

For potential buyers, the cost of the relocation is around $70,000, but excludes parliamentary fees and the cost of rearranging water and electricity.

The Daily Mail reported that it is often more cost-effective to sell a house alone than to hire someone to tear it down.

In 2018, a home in Mortdale, south of Sydney, was sold for $5,000 on the condition that the buyer would relocate it to a new piece of land.

The property's builders said the cost of demolishing the home would be as high as $25,000.
