■ Explanation
○ Interpretation
"Don't be alarmed with an arrow" means that no other animal needs to be frightened because the deer has sharp horns that resemble arrows. Because deer are docile herbivores, although they have sharp antlers on their heads, they will not easily harm other animals.
"You have to eat each other", yo yo deer singing, is calling out to the companion standing in the distance, as if to say: "Come here! There is food here and we are waiting for you to eat together. ”
The last two sentences, "Reiki is loved, virtue is eternally applied", which means that the deer are so docile and have reiki, so social, so friendly with their companions, so supportive of each other, and do not swallow food alone when they have food, but they are willing to eat together until their friends arrive.
○ Connotations
The cartoon "Yo Yo Ming Deer Eat Each Other" is to show the friendship between the same kind of blessed and shared. In this painting, it shows deer and their companions sharing food when there is food. This kind of friendship is a kind of humility, and there are virtues of not being gluttonous, thinking of others, and not taking it for themselves.
Deer live in groups, moving together and foraging for food. Mr. Feng Zikai's deer has very soft lines and rich expressions. A discerning reader may notice that the background on the left side of the painting is bamboo.
Mr. Feng Zikai's other nursing paintings, the background is rarely bamboo. Bamboo is a community of life, growing in clumps. Under the old bamboo, new bamboo will continue to grow and form settlements. Bamboo and bamboo grow next to each other, resisting strong winds and heavy rains.
The bamboo in this painting is not something he painted at will, but after careful consideration, the bamboo bushes are used as a metaphor for the group life of the deer, which reminds us that people should take care of and cherish each other, so as to enhance each other's feelings.
