Biography
Sun Mingwu, whose original name was Shu Zhou, was born in 1889 to a middle-class peasant family in Zhongzhaizi Village, Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province. He was upright and righteous, had a strong sense of national pride, and from an early age admired the heroic deeds of Heroes such as Yue Fei and Qi Jiguang in resisting foreign enemies and defending the country, and was determined to serve the country.
In 1908, he was admitted to the Xingjing (now Liaoning Recruits) Police Coaching Institute, and after graduation, he served as the general of the Guanjia Local Protection Regiment in the fourth district of Xinjingbei District. He served in the Revolutionary Army of Yuan Yuan, and later served as the commander of the third company of engineers in the 16th Division of the Northeast Army, and was soon promoted to battalion commander because of his outstanding ability, and participated in the First Zhifeng War in 1922. However, tired of the reality that the warlords were fighting and causing the people to live in a bad mood, they chose to break away from the army and opened a hotel called "Fuxing" in Shenyang.

In 1931, the Japanese army blew up a section of the South Manchuria Railway near Wicker Lake on the northern outskirts of Shenyang, launching a long-planned war of aggression against China. However, the Kuomintang of the Chinese government at the time adopted a policy of non-resistance to this, which led to the fall of the three northeastern provinces in a very short period of time. At that time, Sun Mingwu and his friend Zhang Xianming were both in Shenyang, and they witnessed the atrocities of the Japanese Kou burning and looting, and felt the danger of national subjugation. Sun Mingwu wept bitterly to his friend: "The rise and fall of the country is a responsibility, and when this country is in trouble, we should stand up and kill the enemy, fulfill the responsibility of the people, and strive for the position of the nation." The two returned home together, contacted their fellow countrymen, rose up against the atrocities of the Japanese army, and saved the country from danger.
On September 19, 1931 (that is, the day after the September 18 Incident), Sun Mingwu found his brother General Huang Xiansheng and asked to resist the Japanese army, and Mr. Huang said sadly: "I am a soldier, and soldiers must obey orders, but I Huang Xiansheng wants to resist Japan." You can organize the people and form a volunteer army to resist Japan. ”
"Instead of sitting still, it is better to rise up and kill thieves, and the nation rises and falls, in one fell swoop." After discussing with his brothers Sun Mingjiu and Sun Mingchen, Sun Mingwu decided to organize anti-Japanese armed forces, they mortgaged 150 acres of paddy fields and 15 houses, purchased 100 guns and more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition with the funds obtained, and secretly transported these weapons back to Qingyuan with the assistance of the old ministry and colleagues.
After returning to the Qing Dynasty, Sun Mingwu first told his family about the atrocities of the Japanese army's occupation of northeast China and its determination to organize anti-Japanese troops. He said firmly: "The nation must not be humiliated, the land will be recovered, and there is nothing to fear by killing oneself and destroying one's family, and he is willing to be the first person to resist Japan." ”
On October 19, 1931, Sun Mingwu and Sun Xianming each led a team and pulled out with other colleagues to gather at the City God Temple in The Dasu River in Qingyuan County. On the square, more than 400 anti-Japanese heroes were paraded in a neat line, and the wind was majestic. They placed incense cases in the Great SuHe City God Temple, sacrificed wine to the heavens, bloodthirsty as an alliance, burned incense and swore an oath to the heavenly alliance: "The country is in trouble, the puppet has the responsibility, resist Japan to save the country, kill the body and become a benevolent." And put a pistol loaded into the incense case, the muzzle of the gun was aimed in the direction of the volunteers, and swore in unison: "If you have two hearts, bullet through my chest." "I drank all the wine. Subsequently, Sun Mingwu told all officers and men about the course of the September 18 Incident, exposed Chiang Kai-shek's policy of non-resistance and the ambitions of Japanese imperialism, and the officers, men, and masses present were indignant and the slogan of driving Japanese imperialism out of northeast China was earth-shattering. Seeing this, Sun Mingmingwu broke his index finger with a knife and wrote on the pavilion pillar: "Blood Alliance National Salvation Army", which is the first armed force to raise the anti-Japanese banner after the 918 Incident in northeast China.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Blood Alliance National Salvation Army formulated six disciplines: "Kill those who treason against the enemy, kill those who flee with weapons, kill those who smuggle military information, kill those who loot people's wealth, kill those who rape women, and kill those who instigate defectors."
Grow and develop against aggression
After the Dasu River Blood Alliance swore an oath, Sun Mingwu, Zhang Xianming, and others went to Xingjing, Liuhe, Tonghua, and other places to secretly contact people from all walks of life to jointly resist Japan, organize and mobilize young students to join the Blood Alliance National Salvation Army, and the head of the Xingjing County Public Security Brigade also secretly gave support.
The traitor Yu Zhishan was deeply shocked when he learned that Sun Mingwu had organized an anti-Japanese organization, so he sent someone to find Sun Mingwu and said that as long as he laid down his arms and did not resist Japan, he was willing to give the posts of county chief and brigade commander in exchange. However, they were severely rejected by Sun Mingwu and scolded them for being inferior to beasts.
In early January 1932, the Liaodong Blood Alliance National Salvation Army rapidly grew to more than a thousand people, and repelled many puppet armies. Seeing that the ranks of the National Salvation Army were getting stronger and stronger, Yu Zhishan once again sent his confidant and chief of staff Lü Hengdu to lead a public security brigade and a battalion of the puppet army, with artillery squadrons and cavalry teams outside, to surround the positions of the National Salvation Army, and the National Salvation Army stubbornly resisted under the command of Sun Mingwu, and once again repelled the puppet army after fighting all day long. In this battle, 5 people below the commander of the public security detachment of the puppet army were killed and more than 40 were wounded. But Sun Mingwu was also unlucky to have his hip bone broken and could no longer fight with the team.
So the nationalist army moved to the nearby town of Hongshi, preparing to use this as a base for a long-term struggle. At this time, the National Salvation Army reorganized its troops, publicly promoted Sun Mingwu as commander-in-chief, Li Dongcai as commander-in-chief, and Zhang Xianming as general staff, reiterating military discipline, and for a while order was orderly and morale was greatly increased. Because the National Salvation Army put forward a clear anti-Japanese purpose, it did not move every grass and tree of the people, and was deeply supported by the masses. Therefore, the National Salvation Army became stronger and stronger in the War of Vietnam, becoming the earliest anti-Japanese brigade in the Liaodong region.
For the country to go to difficulties, life is endless
The growing strength of the National Salvation Army made Yu Zhishan realize that it was impossible to surrender by force, so he prepared to use despicable means to disintegrate this growing anti-Japanese army. On January 18, 1932, the cunning traitor Yu Zhishan sent his son Yu Zongqian to the National Salvation Army garrison, where he himself addressed Sun Mingwu's "anti-Japanese sincerity" and invited Sun Mingwu to his headquarters to discuss the grand plan. Zhang Xianming, general staff officer of the National Salvation Army, held a negative attitude, believing that this was a conspiracy and resolutely opposing it. Sun Mingwu also knew that there must be a trap here, but he still advocated going forward, on the grounds that: First, he could use this opportunity to fight against Yu Zhishan xiao with national righteousness; second, if he was unfortunate enough to dedicate himself, he could also arouse the people's awakening by his own death, so as not to suffer greater losses.
So Sun Mingwu and Zhang Xianming led 20 National Salvation Army officers and nearly 100 escorts to Sanyuanpu to prepare for talks.
However, the old and treacherous Yu Zhishan, under the pretext of busy military affairs and not showing up for a long time, asked his subordinates to set up a banquet and forcibly stay overnight that night. Sun Mingwu realized that this was the Hongmen banquet set up by Yu Zhizhishan, and knowing that it would be difficult to escape the tiger's mouth, he wrote a tear-jerking suicide note with a pen and instructed his second son: When his father was forty-four years old, when the country was in turmoil, the soldiers of the rest of the country must share the difficulties with the country, so they bravely resisted Japan and called on the people to save the country, but unfortunately they suffered a tragic setback in the middle. Now that the Father has died for the kingdom, my Son will inherit his Father's aspirations and work for the country, and he will not be allowed to do wrongdoing, and he will not be allowed to be a thief for his duties, and the Father will die in the Eyes of the Nine Springs. Liu Xijiu, a subordinate of the subordinate, transferred it to the Sun family, and Liu Xijiu was sad and unspeakable, and he retreated in tears. That night, the puppet army's heavy troops bundled up Sun Mingwu, Zhang Xianming, and 20 other patriotic officers one by one and escorted them to the west gate of Sanyuanpu to be killed. Zhang Xianming was killed by two bullets, passed out, rescued by the masses, and after several months of recuperation, he went to Beiping in disguise.
Although Sun Mingwu died, the National Salvation Army did not fall because of this. Under the leadership of Sun Mingchen, sun Mingchen, the younger brother of Sun Mingming, the remnants of the National Salvation Army were organized into the Sixth Brigade of the Third Army led by Li Chunrun, and led all the officers and men of the brigade to fight a bloody battle in Qingyuan, repeatedly defeating the enemy's front, and repeatedly making achievements in battle.

On the eve of Sun Mingwu's uprising (October 1931), he composed a volunteer anti-Japanese military song "Blood Alliance Salvation Army Song" in the Sun Family Compound of Zhongzhaizi Village. In this way, this military song, which is destined to be engraved in the annals of the history of the Chinese nation, was born in the Mountains of Liaodong.
