On January 17th, the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra Ensemble, which participated in the outreach of the 2022 Guangdong International Youth Music Week (YMCG), took the Ersha Island Xinghai Concert Hall as the first stop to play the most beautiful music for the teenagers of the "Music Accompaniment Program"; performed on the same stage with the children of the "Rainbow Fusion Art Troupe After the Rain" at the Guangzhou Children's Palace; walked into the mysterious tram modisha depot, walked the Shanghai Xinqiao, and met the citizens with enthusiastic famous songs.
At the Xinghai Concert Hall, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra's percussionists Zhang Lide, Zheng Zhenghong, Xie Yiqian and Liang Jiehui brought the theme songs of the movie "Frozen" and the video game "Super Mario" to the children with percussion performances, and interacted with the children in the form of musical ensembles.
At the planning event site of the Second Children's Palace in Guangzhou, the Friedh Band composed of special needs children and ordinary children and the "little musicians" of the Rainbow Fusion Art Troupe after the rain expressed themselves with their songs, and interacted with the musicians of Canton with their carefully rehearsed repertoire. Li Qingfeng, a horn player for the "Splendid Metal" brass quintet, said in his opening remarks that they wanted to "bring the good things of a better world to everyone."
In the tram modisha parking lot, Peng Ke and Pan Chang's "Peng & Pan" string duo and galloped on the "most beautiful 7.7 kilometers in Guangzhou" tram produced a wonderful chemical reaction, they played The Parsakalia and Griel's excerpts from "For the Violin and Cello" sent great joy to the people working on the tram front line.
"Like the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, we serve the public, but I always feel that it is far away from our classical music concerts, and to be honest, I only listen to concerts once a year and a half. However, it is really good to be able to encounter music of such a high level and so beautiful in life like this. Mr. Wei, an employee of the tram, sighed.
The last site of the outreach is The Haixin Bridge, a new landmark in Guangzhou. The "Peng & Pan" string duet and the "Splendid Metal" brass quintet brought the famous song "Char dash Dance" to the public on the bridge, attracting many citizens to stop and enjoy.
