The Women's Federation of Wenling City, Zhejiang Province, has promoted the construction of village-level children's homes since 2015. Up to now, the city has built 654 village (community) children's homes, with a coverage rate of 97.76%, and successfully created 3 provincial demonstration children's homes, 10 taizhou demonstration children's homes, and 40 wenling demonstration children's homes.
Recently, the list of "Zhejiang Demonstration Children's Homes" in 2021 was announced, including the "Pin Zun" Children's Home in Xizi Community, Chengxi Street, Wenling City, and the Children's Home in Shuicheng Village, Zeguo Town.
Xizi Community "Pin Zun" Children's Home
Xizi Community "Pin Zun" Children's Home has an indoor area of about 300 square meters, with functional areas such as reading area, children's play area, learning area, activity area, etc., and has purchased more than 500 children's books and slides, chess and other children's cultural and sports supplies to enrich the front function, and strive to enhance the beautiful experience of children's learning and activities.
Xizi Community Children's Home adheres to the open and shared service concept, actively introduces the "participatory" activity model, and creates special brand activities such as "small hands holding big hands" volunteer services, summer child care services, "red" series of family tutoring services, and "children's hearts flying and happy growth" parent-child activities. Up to now, more than 140 activities have been carried out, benefiting more than 3,000 children.

Shuicheng Village Children's Home has a construction area of 300 square meters, with a parent-child reading room, an animation video room, a parent-child interactive game area, a garbage classification laboratory and other functional areas, and has complete cultural and sports supplies and hardware facilities. There are more than 500 children's picture books and more than 200 children's books. Books are updated regularly to meet children's wonderful experience of learning and life.
The Children's Home has set up a leading group for management and operation, headed by the secretary of the village party branch, and the chairman of the village women's federation concurrently serves as the director of children, and implements special management. At the same time, a team of caring volunteers consisting of ambulance teachers, doctors, community workers, child psychology experts, primary school kindergarten teachers and other members has been set up to continuously strengthen the power to protect the healthy growth of children, and provide health care, nutrition education, recreational sports, parenting education, children's games, psychological counseling and other services for children and their relatives.
Shuicheng Village Children's Home has always been adhering to the tenet of "people-oriented, serving children, and warm home", building a platform for protection and service for children's growth, and contributing to the healthy growth of children.
