Exhibition Introduction:
The exhibition is titled "The Return of the King - Ancient Chinese Bronze Ceremony", starting from the four parts of "The Age of the King", "The Great Events of the Country", "Under the Temple" and "Classical Afterglow", interpreting the indispensable position of bronze in the royal government, state affairs, aristocratic life and cultural inheritance, highlighting the importance of bronze to traditional Chinese culture, hoping to look back at the origin of Chinese culture, awaken the cultural memory of liturgy in your and my bones, and meet again with the "original heart" of Chinese sons and daughters.
Sponsored by the National Museum of China and the Hunan Provincial Museum, and co-organized by the Sichuan Guanghan Sanxingdui Museum and the Hunan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, this exhibition brings together more than 280 pieces (sets) of bronze treasures, from which you can glimpse the solemn elegance of the Bronze Ware of the Shang Zhou Dynasty and the inheritance and change of the Bronze Ware of the Han Dynasty, the Song Dynasty, the Ming and Qing Dynasties, present the long history of Chinese bronze civilization to the audience, and show the breadth and depth of Traditional Chinese culture.
